1:53

a better they have ah other

1:55

one. I don't wanna be raised

1:57

by white canadians prefer I live

1:59

in jail. question who would you rather

2:01

have as your father? Christian

2:04

Cage, what would you rather do have

2:06

Christian Cage as your father or get

2:08

hit in the junk with a two by

2:10

four and with nails all over it? How

2:16

close is the term pugil to said neither

2:19

region? Am I getting a little

2:21

protection? Am I selling it or we're

2:24

going to shoot? No protection. We're

2:26

going to shoot right to the balls. Okay. All

2:28

right. Gosh, man, you know

2:30

how I feel about Canadians. I'm just

2:32

kidding. I guess I guess I, I

2:35

guess I'd have to have Christian.

2:38

If this whole entire cold open question of the week

2:40

was just to get me to say Christian is my

2:42

father, then I could

2:44

have just did that, Dave. I could have just did

2:46

that. Yeah, but where were the fun of Ben? All

2:48

right, let's start the show. Let's roll.

2:53

What's going on? It's Mr.

2:55

Perfect. Hey, this is first

2:57

picture. This is the first

3:00

battle season one champion. This

3:02

is Trey Kirby. This

3:04

is the first time the legit boss

3:06

Sasha. This

3:09

is Lillian Garcia. I'm a J styles.

3:12

The phenomenon. If

3:16

you will. You're listening to you are

3:18

listening to the map man show. We've

3:26

got a man show with Kaz

3:28

and special guest. So Snyder,

3:30

first of all,

3:36

Kaz, how you

3:41

doing, buddy? I'm doing good, my man.

3:44

How about yourself, bro? I'm doing good.

3:46

WrestleMania is on the horizon. We had

3:48

an excellent double shot of

3:50

a w last night. And

3:54

we have Phil Schneider here to talk about it

3:56

right off the top. Phil, long

3:58

time friend of the show. long time

4:00

contributor. You got

4:03

another another line on your resume now. You're

4:05

actually promoting a show WrestleMania weekend. Tell us

4:08

about that. Yes, sir. Truly

4:10

one of the dumbest things I've done. And then a

4:12

list of when you make a list of the dumb

4:14

things that Phil's done in his life, it's not a

4:17

short list, right? Not an incredibly long

4:19

list, but it's not a short list.

4:22

This is up there. We are

4:24

running a show directly opposite

4:27

Walla Mania because I'm coming for

4:29

your neck, Kaz. No, you guys

4:31

just sold out. You guys just sold

4:33

out, right? We're

4:36

not all the way sold out yet, but we're pretty

4:38

close. We're dangerously close. When

4:40

Walla Mania sells out and you're in Philly

4:42

and you're looking for a wrestling show, come

4:44

to the H2O Wrestling

4:47

Center right outside. We are

4:49

running Dean Thursday

4:52

night, eight o'clock. It's

4:54

always been kind of a bucket list thing

4:56

of mine to promote a wrestling show.

4:59

We're doing this as Dean Rasmussen was

5:01

the guy who founded the Death Valley

5:03

Driver, one of the more influential

5:07

message board internet wrestling things. If

5:10

you look at a list of the wrestlers who

5:13

were, upset that

5:15

generation starting in the 90s, they're all

5:17

on the board. Chris Herro was on

5:19

the board. Brian Daniels was on

5:21

the board. Samoa Joe was on the board. Tony Khan was

5:23

all over the board. Dean

5:27

founded it, invented

5:29

a style of professional wrestling

5:31

commentary that I do an 85% job

5:37

of aping. He

5:39

passed away last year. This is a tribute show

5:41

to him. And we sort of

5:44

tried to put together the craziest

5:46

card we could within

5:49

the budget. One

5:53

of the things about these Mania weekend shows,

5:55

and there's a ton of them always is, a

5:58

lot of them have the same wrestlers who were where we're

6:00

going to do like six dates,

6:02

right? Mike Bailey is going to

6:04

have nine shows, right? Sammy Callan is

6:07

going to be on five shows. You

6:09

know, Bikingo, when he was healthy, he

6:11

would have a show at four, a

6:13

show at eight. We got a lot

6:15

of guys who are basically only working

6:17

Dean, maybe one other show. Tim Thatcher

6:19

is only working our show in blood

6:22

sport. Demas El-Dimonio, he's only

6:24

coming in for our show. Dr. Cerebro is

6:26

only coming in for our show. Slim J

6:28

is only working our show unless they put

6:30

them on the ROH thing, which I

6:33

don't know yet. So we got to got to

6:35

go. A lot of people are sort of going

6:37

to be unique to Dean and a lot of

6:39

really cool, you know, insane

6:41

book matches. You're never going

6:43

to, you know, that are coming out of my

6:45

brain and my buddy, Eric's brain and back with

6:48

his brain and coming to the show. So

6:50

it's going to be a cool show. I think it's going to, I

6:52

think for wrestling shows, it's going to be the best show

6:55

many weeks. And I think for

6:57

all those in all the indie shows, just for

6:59

like what we're doing and the uniqueness of it.

7:02

You should have just said to me better than

7:04

WrestleMania. That would have, that would have. I definitely

7:06

think it's going to be better than WrestleMania. I

7:08

mean, sure they've got the ROH, they've got the

7:10

ROH, but we've got, you know, we got Demas

7:12

in the dog collar match. I'm telling you, nobody's

7:14

going to believe the ROH is not going to

7:16

bleed as much as Demas is going to bleed.

7:18

I'll tell you that much. Yeah.

7:21

So, so it's like, you know, one of the cool things

7:23

I've always, you know, there's one

7:25

of my favorite quotes about pro wrestling was like

7:28

an old dusty roads quote that wrestling when it's

7:30

great, it's like a circus. And

7:32

then if you don't like the, the, the,

7:34

you know, the fire readers, you can go off to

7:36

tightrope blockers. And if you don't want the clowns, you

7:38

can go see the lion tapers. And

7:40

you know, that's a, I think that's a little

7:42

lost in pro wrestling there. I

7:45

think a lot of wrestling as you know,

7:47

you've had more of the internet and you've

7:49

had more people have access to things. The

7:51

style has become a little homogenized. Certainly

7:53

more than it was in like the nineties. And I

7:55

think what one of the things we're trying to do

7:58

with Dean is we're trying to really. Showcase

8:00

all of the different styles of

8:02

pro wrestling. So it's it's you

8:04

know, we've got for example

8:07

Timothy Thatcher Daniel McCabe Are

8:11

gonna be those are the two two of

8:13

the five best? Technical wrestlers

8:15

in the world and they're gonna there's their

8:17

fifth match against each other The first couple

8:19

were the ones that kind of put Dan

8:21

McCabe on the map and became a guy

8:23

that became booked all over the place And

8:26

this is he's retiring in the summer So

8:29

this is gonna be the last time these two

8:31

are gonna wrestle and they're gonna absolutely rip and

8:33

tear each other's limbs apart And

8:35

then we got Demis El

8:38

Domino versus Mad dog

8:40

Connolly in a dog collar match and

8:42

that's basically the best dog collar wrestler

8:44

in America That's the best dog collar

8:46

wrestler in Mexico and that's gonna be

8:48

true mania I mean Demis spends

8:50

most of his career now working

8:52

in Zona 23 junkyards smashing people

8:54

with card shield windows And

8:56

he's gonna bring that energy and then we've got

8:59

we've got a Gringo

9:02

loco is gonna be taking

9:04

on dr. Cerebro who is an old

9:07

enemy of his From

9:09

Mexico and they haven't rushed they've they've feuded

9:11

a lot early in gringo locals career and

9:13

IW RG In arena

9:16

knuckle upon and these incredible matches haven't really

9:18

wrestled each other in 15 years.

9:20

This is kind of like a Return

9:22

of that feud and I think you're gonna see all

9:25

of the great things about

9:27

lucha Libre in that match Dr.

9:30

Cerebro is a maestro great Techno

9:33

mass wrestler. He's a crazy brawler He

9:35

can fly and I think you're gonna see like

9:38

every part of that sort

9:40

of you know All

9:42

of all of the things that lucha Libre

9:44

asked off or we've got slim J against

9:46

Adam Priest Maybe the best southern independent wrestler

9:48

of the 2000s against the best southern independent

9:51

wrestler right now Adam Priest was just

9:53

on a WTV But he's probably one of

9:55

the best Unsigned no contracting wrestlers

9:57

in the world that they're having a match So

10:00

we're just doing it. We're trying to get everything. We

10:02

got a bunch of we're gonna announce

10:04

a goofy six-man with a bunch of crazy Characters

10:07

coming up pretty soon. We got guys coming in

10:09

from Germany. We're really blowing it out. I'm only

10:11

gonna ever do this once So

10:14

I figured what the hell we might as well try to

10:16

do something little nuts and and you know And

10:19

and my wife somehow agreed to let me lose some

10:21

money on this thing. So it's gonna be pretty pretty

10:24

Pretty wild if you're in Philly, there's tickets still

10:26

available at action Dean calm If you want to

10:29

not come into Philly, but want to watch the

10:31

show, it's gonna be streaming live on IW TV

10:34

So everybody if you can't go to

10:37

the show you can watch the show I'd

10:39

be TV is only ten bucks a month and you

10:41

just get it for one month cancel it or you

10:43

could get it You know, they've got just an app.

10:45

They stream shows multiple shows of

10:47

indie shows a week and have just

10:49

an insane back catalog

10:51

of wrestling You know independent

10:53

shows from your pay and shows from

10:56

X- No, they they're real good value

10:58

for for you true freaks and

11:00

this one's for the freaks I mean, you know

11:02

like this yeah, the real nut

11:04

keys I was about to ask

11:06

Phil. I mean like you're you're you're booking

11:08

this show, right? So I mean, yeah just

11:11

knowing you know just folks

11:13

who are familiar with the work way of the blade and

11:15

everything you've kind of You know put

11:17

out as far as like the style

11:19

of wrestling that you like to watch How

11:22

bloody is this night gonna be man? Like you

11:25

talk about you know Wrestling being good and making

11:27

it feel like a circus and you do feel

11:29

like things a little bit homogenized and just knowing

11:31

how We've gotten to know you over the years

11:33

on the show Kind of

11:35

feels like there's gonna be a violent ass night, right?

11:37

We got dog It's

11:40

gonna be all kinds of things right so it's

11:42

good. Okay violent night But I you know, Tim

11:44

Thatcher Dan McCobby a lot of their matches are

11:46

on YouTube. Absolutely incredible

11:50

Wrestling Matt wrestling is gonna be I

11:52

think it'll be as good You know at

11:54

the level of like the Zack Sabre jr. Brian

11:57

Daniels and matches that you know on a on

11:59

a grime me on a smaller stage for

12:01

sure. But those are two guys who can run

12:03

that style as good as anybody. But yeah, no,

12:06

I mean, I, it'll be still be some red.

12:08

I mean, I think there'll be some

12:10

red for sure. I mean, that's a dog

12:12

collar match. Those both of those guys are

12:14

absolutely insane. Coddling and

12:16

Demas are two of the biggest

12:19

lunatics in wrestling. And

12:21

you know, I think there's no way that

12:24

doesn't I mean, Demas just sent me a

12:26

when I when I booked him, he just

12:28

sent me a text glass question mark. Whatever

12:31

you want, buddy. I

12:34

mean, speak English that well. But he said glass.

12:36

Sure. I mean, whatever you want. You know,

12:41

I'm gonna I'm not gonna I'm

12:43

not gonna micromanage your artistic decisions,

12:45

Demas. Oh, my God. The

12:48

glass question mark. And, and

12:50

Saribro and and Greco Loco, I

12:53

think there's gonna be some beautiful

12:55

Lucha Libre in that match. Those

12:57

are guys of a long standing

12:59

grudge against each other. If you look at

13:01

some of those IWRA G matches back in the day,

13:03

those were some those were there's one of them in Way

13:06

of the Blade and there's some

13:08

to be some red there. And it's that I

13:10

mean, H2O it's at

13:12

Matt Tremont school. There's no

13:14

roles and there don't athletic commission in

13:16

New Jersey. So yeah, you know, it's

13:18

gonna be it's gonna be what it's gonna be. So

13:21

I mean, I don't think at some point that I

13:23

likely we're gonna have to get a fair amount of

13:25

bleach and rags. So

13:28

then Dan McCovey and

13:30

Timothy Thatcher exchange, you

13:32

know, violent ankle locks, they're not

13:35

doing it in a pool of somebody's blood.

13:37

So that's gonna be at least part of

13:39

this is where I feel like I don't

13:41

know what we're gonna do for the five

13:43

minutes when we get the students at the

13:46

H2O Center to sanitize the map after some

13:48

of the matches were having earlier. So we

13:50

could have these guys, you know, do like

13:53

prawn holds and really nasty

13:55

arm bars and not have

13:57

a, you know, in a pool of of,

14:00

uh, biohazard. All

14:05

right. Well, speaking of, uh, blood and

14:07

gore in the wrestling ring. And

14:09

real glass. But

14:11

that transition is why you're looking

14:14

at that. Yeah. Uh, I

14:16

look at that. AAW had a hell

14:19

of a match between Christian Cage and,

14:21

uh, and, and, and Adam Copeland, FKA

14:23

edge last night on dynamite, uh, last

14:25

man standing match. It was

14:27

in their home country of Canada. They

14:29

got a hockey fight in. They, um, they,

14:32

they got to, you know, leave it all on

14:35

the line edge. Jumped

14:37

off a giant ladder to the

14:39

outside in a, you know, I guess impressive

14:41

spot. I don't know if we're grading, are we grading edge

14:43

on the sting curve now? Are we, are we, are we

14:46

saying that's good for a man of his age or are

14:48

we still grading him against like the youngsters? I don't know.

14:50

I don't really know how to talk about it. Uh,

14:53

sorry, Adam Copeland, but, um, but

14:56

it was a really fun match and

14:58

I'll say this about it, this

15:00

feud has obviously been going on for a while.

15:03

Yeah. Um, if the

15:05

decision was made deliberately to save this

15:07

match for a moment where AEW felt

15:09

like it was already hitting on all

15:11

cylinders, that was a really smart move.

15:14

I don't know if that was the

15:16

choice, but this match felt so

15:18

much more fun and more significant than

15:20

every other interaction they've had before. And,

15:23

and I think, well, except maybe like

15:25

the first one and I, and maybe,

15:27

I think that's largely because I don't

15:30

know. I mean, Copeland, Copeland wasn't exactly, I mean,

15:32

listen, they put Copeland directly into a feud with

15:34

his old buddy Christian. Right. When

15:37

they could have said, Hey, let's do Adam Copeland versus

15:39

Kenny Omega right off the bat, you know, kind of

15:41

do the great wrestler intro thing that AEW had done

15:43

a few times before. And

15:45

so he wasn't really put in a position

15:47

to, you know,

15:49

be the rising tide that lifts all, lists all

15:52

ships with the company. And

15:55

I think partly because of that, just not

15:57

a lot that he's done, not a lot that they've done

15:59

together has felt. as big as maybe I

16:01

would have imagined it would have because everything else

16:03

around them wasn't quite up to that level. But

16:06

now it feels like it felt like a really big deal.

16:08

I had a lot of fun with that match. What did

16:10

you think? Go ahead. I think he probably was looking at

16:13

where they had booked

16:18

arenas over the next couple of months

16:20

and circled Toronto for sure. I think

16:22

this felt significantly

16:25

bigger because it was

16:27

Toronto kid versus

16:29

Toronto kid in Toronto and in

16:32

an arena that they packed. I

16:34

think the arena was pretty close to sold out

16:36

and obviously it wasn't as big as some of

16:39

the arenas you book in Toronto, but that's kind

16:41

of the sweet spot is they should be aiming

16:43

towards six to 8,000 seat

16:45

arenas and try to fill them with as many people

16:47

as you can. It's funny

16:50

you mentioned that because Copeland

16:53

is like the perfect barometer on this. It's

16:55

a hot house because of his entrance, right?

16:57

Like when he comes out, if he goes

16:59

to the hard camp side and he gets

17:01

a hype, it's like it's a good house.

17:03

But if he just goes to one side

17:05

of the camera, you know, if he just

17:07

goes to the other side of the hard

17:09

camp, you know, maybe it's not. But Toronto,

17:12

it's Toronto, man. Like it's a

17:14

wonderful, wonderful wrestling, you know, city

17:16

with, you know, wrestling children and

17:19

Adam Copeland and Christian. And,

17:21

you know, I feel like, you

17:25

know, AWS really hitting on all cylinders, but

17:27

one thing that they've always sort of done

17:30

even well, even the times that they weren't

17:32

hitting on all cylinders was they treated the

17:34

vets like, right? Right? Like they've always seemed

17:36

to get, you know,

17:38

even the dudes that can't really work, like even

17:40

like in the space that they've used, like Jake,

17:42

the snake Roberts or, you know, you

17:46

know, Chris, well, Chris Jericho's

17:48

a, you know, his

17:50

case is a little different, you know what I mean? Just cause he's

17:52

always been there. But you know, Sting,

17:55

obviously the easy suggestion, the Rob Van

17:57

Dam, you know, guys that we've known.

18:00

that can be and have been

18:02

world title main event level guys

18:05

that, you know, aren't probably

18:07

there at the moment, but at the same

18:09

time are walking Hall of Famers. They

18:11

treat them with reverence. They treat them

18:13

with, with respect. And on the same token,

18:17

I think they put themselves in position,

18:20

especially Adam Copeland to

18:22

do good work without necessarily getting

18:24

in the way. Right? Like not

18:27

getting in, getting in the way. And I mean, when I say

18:29

back in the way, I mean, he, they don't get in the

18:31

way of rising

18:33

talent, right? Like it almost felt like

18:35

every, every, every working

18:38

relationship Adam Copeland had led

18:41

to getting into the TNT

18:43

title has somehow elevated daddy

18:45

magic, elevated Danny Garcia, elevated,

18:47

you know, Nick Wayne, like all these guys

18:49

that, you know, you would hope in

18:52

the next few years are the people that

18:54

are, you know, uh, carrying the company. Um,

18:57

and that's what you do. That's what you use

18:59

these, these guys that we know for. If I

19:01

was going to be an a-hole about this, about

19:03

this match and I'm not, but if

19:06

I were, I would say, you

19:10

know, edge had

19:13

two buddies to counteract Christian's two

19:15

buddies. So technically edge overcame no

19:17

odds. He

19:20

also handcuffed his old friend to the ring ropes

19:22

and kicked him in the balls a bunch of

19:25

times and then tried to go after him with

19:27

a, with a nail covered two by four. Not

19:29

exactly like an apex baby face mountain moment for

19:31

edge, but you know what? It's a B that

19:33

it needed to be, did not need to be

19:36

the good guy moment. Christian

19:38

has this weird power to play like the

19:41

most diabolical heel, heel in the business, but

19:43

then just to turn everybody he feuds with

19:45

into heels too. Like nobody likes anybody standing

19:47

across. I feel like edge was falling victim

19:49

to this edge to this Christian like reverse

19:52

jinx. But anyway, it was, it was a

19:54

lot of fun. Um, we

19:56

also had kazushko kata winning gold

19:58

faster than anyone. one's ever won

20:00

it in AEW, I believe, after

20:03

his debut. Now, Phil, you're

20:06

a Okada connoisseur, but not

20:08

exactly an Okada Mark. I think

20:10

that's the way I could put

20:13

that correctly. Sure. What

20:16

have you thought about his run so far in AEW? I

20:18

mean, I think this was an

20:20

absolutely perfect

20:22

use of him. I

20:24

think that the tendency, I think

20:27

most people thought he'd be coming in as

20:29

great wrestler to work, great

20:31

matches guy. That, I

20:34

think, was the assumption, right? Here's this guy

20:36

who's been considered

20:38

one of the best wrestlers in the

20:40

world for however many, for a decade,

20:42

and he's going to come in as

20:45

this huge side of his brain. Instead,

20:47

they leaned into what I think he's

20:49

best at, which is being unlikable shit.

20:51

I think he was a heel for a lot of the

20:53

time in Japan, and I think he's really good at being

21:00

a smarmy dickbag. He's

21:02

a good-looking guy. He comes in in

21:05

the sports cars and the suits, and

21:07

the bucks are being jerks

21:10

behind him. I think heel Okada

21:12

is so much of a better

21:14

use than Okada than here's another

21:16

great wrestler we signed Okada, which

21:18

is how I think most people

21:20

expected him to be used.

21:23

I'm enjoying this Okada a

21:26

lot. I think this is a real good

21:28

because the other thing is I think his body

21:31

is a little more broken down

21:33

after years of doing super match

21:35

wrestling. The fact that he

21:38

can do a style that requires

21:40

a little bit more

21:42

smirk and strut, but

21:45

not as much insane

21:48

bump, 25-minute pedal to the

21:50

metal work-rate wrestling is going

21:52

to extend his career a lot. I imagine

21:54

when he does an Omega match again or

21:56

he does an Osprey match again or he

21:59

does a Bright Daniel's the match again, then

22:02

he'll have the, he'll be able to turn it up.

22:04

But I don't think he would, I don't think

22:06

it was plausible for him to do like what

22:08

Osprey is doing now, which is like, I'm coming

22:10

in on TV and working one of these, you

22:13

know, like, it's all

22:15

explosion last 20 minutes of a Marvel

22:17

movie matches every week on TV against

22:19

different people. I just his body wouldn't have

22:22

helped. No, I mean, I think I think the abiding

22:24

question with Will Osprey is, is he going to be

22:26

able to do that for or for what, except for

22:28

what period of time will he be able to do

22:30

that? He is already like a superhuman.

22:32

I mean, there's it's it's unbelievable

22:34

just to look at his body of work. And if he

22:36

can keep this up with a, even

22:39

an AEW schedule, it's going to be,

22:42

it's going to be legendary. Let me ask,

22:45

man, you talked about how Hilo Kata is

22:47

doing great work, man, but that

22:49

Toronto crowd was not treating him

22:51

like a heel like and this

22:53

is against Eddie Kingston, a guy

22:55

that everybody in AEW loves. He's

22:58

probably one of their biggest baby faces. But

23:01

I think to

23:03

me, AEW is sort of

23:05

in his position where there's not a whole

23:07

lot of defined faces and

23:09

heels in that company. I think they sort

23:12

of just kind of like put people in

23:14

situations and sort of let you draw

23:16

your own conclusions because that dude was

23:19

getting cheered every single time

23:21

he came out. Every movie was doing,

23:23

they were, they erupted when they beat

23:25

Eddie Kingston for the title last

23:27

night. So I don't know, man,

23:30

like, yeah, yes, he's a heel

23:32

in, in very obviously. But

23:35

as far as AEW

23:37

was a whole, I feel like they do

23:40

a really good job of like keeping people

23:42

gray, you know, and keeping

23:44

people interesting. I think they're great

23:46

guys. Listen, Okada is definitely a

23:48

heel. Okada is the only, you

23:50

know, you know, crowd in the box or heel

23:52

it as you could possibly get. But it's, but there'll

23:55

be the exceptions, right? Like the bucks, I think

23:57

this one makes it interesting, right? Like the bucks.

24:00

are super duper heels, all right? Like easily,

24:02

you know, the

24:04

management, you know, finding people doing all that type

24:07

of shit. Yes. Very much heel-ish.

24:09

But Okada's a heel in a way that's kind of

24:12

like less dickish.

24:14

And I think at AW, like they've

24:17

done a, you know, they've done like

24:20

Samoa Joe started as a heel when he won

24:22

the title, but is he a heel now? Like

24:24

Swarves Frickin started as a heel before. Samoa Joe's

24:26

still a heel. But I think that they

24:34

embrace the crowd's reaction and they're

24:36

doing a thing which is

24:38

contrary to what we've grown up

24:40

watching in pro wrestling, which is to not

24:42

overreact to a crowd reaction like that. Because

24:45

this is more of a

24:47

realistic sports experience, right? I mean, you could

24:49

hate LeBron James, but you're still

24:51

going to buy that ticket, right? To go see him play

24:53

and you're still going to be like, you know,

24:56

like grabbing your kid and saying like, watch

24:58

this guy that get that is the person that you're

25:00

going to be that you're going to tell your your

25:02

kids about someday that you saw him live, right? I

25:04

mean, it's still a moment. And

25:07

and I think that that's what they're channeling. I think

25:10

that's what the audience in large part is channeling with

25:12

those reactions to Okada. I mean, listen, it's a big

25:14

deal to see him wrestle live, you know, I would

25:16

be jumping out of my seat when I saw him

25:18

too, no matter how diabolical he had been in the

25:20

preceding weeks. Okay, I can see that. Right? Like

25:23

it's I mean, I think, you know, if he

25:25

continues on this path, I mean, you know, and

25:28

that's always been a wrestling that particular arc type

25:30

of guy with the nicest suit and the nicest

25:32

car in the previous, you know, there are a

25:34

lot of center stage fans in Atlanta in 86

25:37

wooing and cheering Ric Flair, despite

25:39

the fact he was a despicable

25:42

heel doing evil things, right? And

25:45

it certainly was didn't make him

25:47

less of a success at being

25:49

a heel. I imagine it'll be

25:51

interesting to see what they end up doing, whether that

25:53

Eddie feud is a feud or was

25:56

just an opportunity to get a belt

25:58

on Okada, because I think I think

26:00

that if you extend it a little bit, with

26:03

between Eddie and Okada, you can

26:05

get kind of a dusty flare

26:07

thing going between the two of

26:09

those guys, right? And I think that you had

26:11

a mixed crowd reaction. I mean, there was definitely

26:13

Eddie fans there. And I think you, I

26:16

could see if, you know, did you

26:18

guys see the promo that Eddie caught after the match

26:20

it was on? So I mean, the idea of it's

26:22

like, hey, you know, I lost. I'm

26:24

okay with that. You know, please, I want

26:26

you to treat this title with some respect. I

26:28

fought really hard for it. So let's

26:30

say Okada doesn't do that, right?

26:33

Like comes out next week, dragging the belt

26:35

on the ground or so, you know, making

26:37

fun of the fact that he held the

26:39

item GTV title. And now it's this kind

26:41

of made up belt. I could see if

26:43

you build up the pay-per-view around that, you

26:45

might get more of a pro Eddie proud,

26:49

especially after Okada has been there for a while and

26:51

you're going to lose a little bit of the, holy

26:53

shit, I'm seeing Okada live reaction and

26:55

he's getting in his first couple of matches. I

26:58

don't know. It'll be interesting. I just think that this

27:01

is so much smarter than just bringing

27:03

in a guy to do great, another

27:05

great wrestler that we saw. It's

27:08

really, I would love, I would love

27:10

if like, in this, you

27:13

know, obviously I think I

27:15

make the show, you'll tiny comparisons a lot. Obviously

27:17

it's going to be a lot more show, you'll

27:19

tiny news and TV for the

27:21

next few weeks, but I

27:24

think there's something really dope of them

27:26

leaning into the fact where it's like,

27:29

I hear what you're saying about Eddie Kingston saying

27:31

like, y'all fought really hard for this title. We

27:33

did this concept of a classic that really established

27:36

all this, that, and a third. And it was

27:38

based off of obviously things that happened in New

27:40

Japan and like, you know, let's treat this title

27:42

with reverence. And if

27:44

Okada just uses it as, man,

27:48

this title just needed me because I'm much more of

27:50

an international star and I got to go to Japan.

27:53

And he leans into really being that like, you

27:56

know, that suit of

27:58

being like, yeah, I know you fought. really hard

28:00

for this title and I know a lot of people

28:02

bled really hard for this, but I got this in

28:04

my second match and this title needs me because I'm

28:07

taking this place, this AEW

28:09

place further than you ever could.

28:12

You know, like I could see that.

28:14

I could see them leading into, this

28:16

is our big international star. This

28:18

is a continental championship, a champion

28:20

of the continents, right? So you

28:22

have to be able to

28:25

keep this title on

28:28

somebody who could represent us, consonantally.

28:32

And Eddie, the reason why I had chosen

28:34

you to beat you for that title, because

28:36

you don't represent us very well. Look at

28:38

your dress. Look how you come out with

28:41

your jeans and your Tim's and

28:43

your hat. You know what I mean? Like, look

28:45

at me. I'm an

28:47

internationally renowned star and I'm

28:49

the highest paid free agent and whatever, whatever, whatever.

28:51

That could be like really fucking interesting. And I

28:54

think that could, you know, like you said, I

28:56

think once the luster wears off of

28:58

people just being excited to see Okada wrestle

29:00

on American Solvegent every single week, that could

29:02

be a way that they really lead into

29:05

like, okay, like let's start really hating this

29:07

guy for real. Speaking

29:10

of the highest paid free agent, did you

29:12

see this news? This was like last week

29:14

or something that Meltzer came out with that

29:16

the Okada AEW deal had been done for

29:18

months before it was, you know, before

29:21

it came out. I mean, this is

29:23

taking this with a grain of salt, I guess,

29:25

because Meltzer didn't have this info prior to last

29:27

week. You know, I mean, like, in the whole

29:29

lead up to him signing, Meltzer was saying, oh,

29:31

you know, talking to WWE, we all

29:33

believe. I mean, so was everybody else. So

29:35

I don't know if the WWE chatter was just maybe

29:38

the agent was trying to pump up the

29:40

price at the last minute. Maybe they were

29:42

just, you know, this is AEW toying with

29:44

everybody, you know, in the news cycle. There

29:48

certainly was a feeling both. And

29:51

again, you know, the news that we

29:53

get leaked is all has a message

29:55

behind it, right? WWE has come out,

29:58

I think came out with. I

30:00

don't remember if it was Osprey Okada, I think it was

30:02

or maybe both where they're basically just like we offered them

30:04

a fair price But we knew that

30:06

they would if they wanted to come to WWE they

30:08

would come to WWE We didn't need to match the

30:10

dollar amount, you know, there's that kind of stuff so

30:13

they can you know That's

30:15

the way they can kind of take a little bit of

30:17

the shine off at least at least for the diehard WWE

30:19

fans for these guys, but it is interesting

30:21

if Nothing else then

30:24

that the free agency news cycle continues to churn

30:26

just like it does in real sports, right? We're

30:28

still trying to get the backstory to all this

30:30

stuff and I think this

30:32

is a Generally a good a very good

30:34

thing because the fact is the WWE if

30:36

you look at the percentage of revenue that

30:38

they pay talent It's so

30:40

much below actual sports It's even

30:43

below the UFC who just got

30:45

sued because they didn't pay their talent

30:47

enough And so if this actually

30:49

means that they're gonna all the money that

30:51

every of the McMahons made from that sale

30:53

and all the money That you know TKO

30:55

Endeavor is putting into this that they have

30:57

to put a little more into the hands

30:59

of the people who are actually Getting the

31:01

20 CL's on the concussions I think that's

31:03

generally a good thing and the fact that

31:05

Tony Khan's got you know that

31:07

this is pocketless I'm gonna lose

31:10

significantly more of my Net

31:12

worth on Dean the Tony Khan

31:14

is losing at AW like a

31:17

significant both larger percentage of my

31:19

Not very large net worth on this

31:21

show And so I the idea

31:23

people is like oh is he gonna keep losing

31:26

money? I don't think a uber bill for

31:28

that's like a that's like a one month

31:30

door dash bill for Kaz percentage

31:32

of Kaz's income Versus a year of

31:34

AW losses for Tony cause it he

31:36

could continue to blow that out of

31:38

money Forever and ever and ever and

31:40

his net worth will increase if he

31:43

just keeps it in a savings account

31:45

So the fact that he's using some

31:47

of the people One

31:49

of the weirdest things ever is everybody pocket

31:51

watch it watching on Twitter where they're like,

31:53

oh he's doing this He's losing this money how they're

31:55

doing that like I This

31:58

is the best use of a billionaires money in

32:00

the world. He's using it to bring

32:02

it and put on cool wrestling matches

32:04

as opposed to what? Trying to buy

32:06

a tax cut by giving a bunch

32:08

of money to congress people. I don't

32:11

think about how shitty the use of most billionaires'

32:13

money is. And he's using it to, I'm going

32:15

to bring in Hetch a Chair on Leonard Russell

32:17

and Brian Danielson. And the fact that

32:19

he's willing

32:22

to pay, you know, pay

32:25

Sir Guard money to

32:28

Kazucho Okada, right? To

32:30

pay, you know, greedy dick

32:32

money to Kazucho Okada. Yeah,

32:35

they're like, they might even

32:37

cry money. If

32:39

Miles McBride woke up and he said, hey,

32:41

we're going to pay you what we're paying

32:43

Kazucho Okada, we'll probably go like Moen Laws.

32:46

I'm just kidding. But it's

32:48

like, I think I'm going to leave the Knicks.

32:50

I'm going to see who else is out there.

32:52

Right, exactly. So in the fact that he's willing

32:54

to do that and pay people, you know, like

32:56

I said, decent money

32:58

for professional athletes, not great money,

33:01

not even close to the money

33:03

that he's paying. You know, this

33:06

is Trava Lawrence. Yeah, this is, this is,

33:08

this is, you

33:13

know, punter money for

33:15

the Jaguars. And

33:17

maybe that makes that means that

33:20

when, you know, Randy Orton renegotiates

33:22

or Roman Reigns renegotiates or the

33:24

contracts of the Creed brothers come

33:26

up, then maybe the WWE is

33:28

going to actually pay them what they're worth. So

33:30

I think this is the whole thing about this.

33:33

Yeah, the Jaguars just traded some extraneous draft picks

33:35

for a backup quarterback and Mack Jones from the

33:37

from the Patriots. I think he's making for 2024

33:39

$2.7 almost $2.8 million. So

33:45

yeah, I mean, we can I

33:47

think ever I think that I think the

33:49

line should be there if you're making are

33:51

you making backup quarterback money from the Khan

33:53

family? And if not, well, you know, why

33:55

not? And we've

33:57

all seen Mack Jones play football. Connor

34:01

Russell. Okay. Is

34:04

a significantly better wrestler than Mac Jones is as

34:06

a quarterback. We've seen Mac Jones. We know Mac

34:08

Jones. We are

34:10

familiar with his work. And the fact

34:12

is, so that's the thing. It's like, yeah, Mercedes

34:14

Beaume should be making a lot of

34:16

money because she's very successful and very good at what she does.

34:18

I'll just be making a lot of money because

34:21

he's very successful and very good at

34:23

what she does. And Daddy

34:25

Mac Menard should

34:27

be making a good living. Right? And

34:30

Drew Gulak should be making a good living.

34:34

It'll be interesting to see what happens. I mean,

34:37

listen, I agree. There's two separate things. There's two

34:39

separate conversations happening. One is Tony Khan's pocketbook. And

34:42

the other one is the WWE salary, the

34:45

percentage that's

34:47

going to the wrestlers. You

34:49

know, TKO just settled those two class action lawsuits

34:51

that had been filed against UFC, which

34:54

had been lingering for a while. I think

34:56

they got a pretty good deal,

34:59

all things considered, but they had to shell out just a ton

35:01

of millions of dollars for them. It'll

35:04

be interesting to see how that

35:06

trickles down to WWE. My guess is that

35:10

from a public PR standpoint and

35:12

just a dollars and cents standpoint, having had been

35:14

forced to settle those two cases, TKO might see

35:16

some value in

35:20

raising the salary scale for WWE wrestlers

35:23

just because it's worth it. It's worth it for

35:25

good will within your company, keep

35:28

your employees happy. And I think with these settlements

35:30

have proven is that you're not going to get

35:33

away with underpaying

35:35

people forever. And also, like you said,

35:37

this is a vanishingly small line

35:40

item compared to some of the other, compared

35:42

to some of the profits they're making. So it would

35:44

be interesting. But listen, but WWE signing Okada

35:47

or Osprey to

35:50

a $100 million contract would change that calculus a lot,

35:52

but it doesn't really change the reality for

35:54

anybody else on the roster, right? So of how much

35:56

money you're making compared to how much the company is

35:58

making. I think it's going

36:00

to be probably more gradual than

36:03

some might like. I

36:06

mean, you mentioned the goodwill that it

36:08

would take to raise salaries in WWE.

36:10

And just from the way

36:12

they're doing business now with going

36:15

into these D1 schools and really

36:17

trying to recruit folks that may not make the

36:19

NFL, may not make the NBA, like you could

36:22

assume like these guys talk and you could assume

36:24

that like, you know, if you want

36:26

to make really good will with, you know, these campuses,

36:28

whether it seems like a success

36:30

story that instead

36:33

of, you know, going

36:35

to do CrossFit for

36:38

Bianca Belair goes back to the University

36:40

of Tennessee. And you know what

36:42

I mean? And like, and it's treated as

36:44

well-regarded as Shemekwa Holesclaw or something like

36:46

that, right? Like that should be the

36:48

sort of like success stories you want

36:50

to tell if you want to push

36:52

the industry forward. Um, especially

36:54

if you're not going to shell out however

36:57

much dollars that you think is worth on

36:59

getting free agents that aren't coming

37:02

through your newly. Pretty

37:04

successful system of, you know, the, the,

37:06

the, and I L students and college

37:08

athletes and, you know, high D1, you

37:10

know, gymnasts and all this type of

37:13

stuff, WWE sort of

37:15

like jumped in feet first, I think, you

37:17

know, as far as like big sports

37:19

companies are concerned, they jumped in feet

37:21

first early with the NIL stuff. And

37:23

I think looking around on just the

37:25

sporting landscape, we've got March Madness coming

37:27

up. We got, you know, the college

37:29

football season that just passed and Caleb

37:31

Williams going into the draft as like

37:33

a known entity. Like I'm seeing like

37:36

ads of him in new, I've seen it as if him in

37:38

vitamin water in New York city, crossing

37:40

into the Lincoln tunnel every day before this

37:42

dude is taking a single NFL snap, right?

37:45

Then this is the NFL, mind you, you

37:47

would assume that like the WWE and TKO

37:50

and these new, you know, the, the new

37:52

group that is going to elevate

37:54

the company forward is going to

37:56

want those similar success stories. Right? Like,

37:58

and I think I've. got to start

38:00

with finances at this point, because you

38:03

can't keep touting how much records you're

38:05

breaking and how much money is being

38:09

processed during weekends if

38:11

the talent isn't eventually going to

38:13

have to start looking like that

38:15

and being treated like that as

38:17

multi-million dollar professional athletes or

38:20

at least something close to it.

38:22

So I think this whole

38:24

thing just sort of pushes the culture forward

38:26

and moves the ball down to

38:28

a place where I think we're

38:31

all more comfortable with talent, just making a

38:33

shit ton of money. I don't even just

38:35

shit ton of money. Make it comfortable money

38:37

for everybody. WrestleMania Weekend

38:39

in Philly should just be a gridlock,

38:42

bumper to bumper traffic

38:44

jam of wrestler limos all

38:46

weekend long. It's

38:50

just nothing but escalades going up and

38:53

down, link to

38:55

link all the way down to Wells Fargo. Well,

39:00

I'm glad we got into that conversation because that was

39:02

one that needed to be had and we will continue

39:04

discussing that stuff. Is there anything

39:06

else from Dynamite that anybody wants to touch on? I

39:08

don't think there is anything particularly

39:11

huge. We have Strickland and Joe coming,

39:14

well not face to face, well I guess face to face,

39:16

they were a little bit of a distance apart. Swerve Strickland

39:19

who is out there attending music

39:21

festivals with other people's exes is also

39:25

one of the greats. Where

39:27

did that come from? I'm just kidding.

39:29

That was a little, that was a

39:31

little. No, I'm making a joke about

39:33

the internet's reaction to it. If you

39:35

see a coworker out there in the

39:38

wild, you're probably going to take an

39:40

Instagram photo. That's the way this

39:42

is. Right. That's how you would interact. It is.

39:45

We don't know a lot about humanity. We just know

39:47

about the representation of humanity. Swerve

39:51

Strickland, I mean every

39:54

time he appears on TV he's just

39:56

more of a megastar. He's like more

39:58

muscular and more compelling. and he's, I

40:01

can't wait to see him and Joe

40:03

finally, you know, go one on one. I

40:06

don't know if you saw, did you guys

40:09

see any of the, of

40:11

collision that aired immediately afterwards? They had

40:13

like a rampage. Yeah. A rampage, sorry,

40:15

that aired immediately after his edge. Just

40:17

like a sick tag team match between

40:19

Julia Hart and Sky Blue versus Chris

40:22

Tatlana or Willow Nightingale. Phil, did you

40:24

see that? Yeah, yeah, that was great. I

40:27

loved, I really liked the sort of tradition of

40:30

once every eight months running a woman's

40:32

street fight. That's kind of a cool thing that they've

40:34

done. I

40:36

interviewed Britt Baker for the upcoming way of the

40:38

AWA of the Blade. She said that John

40:41

Moxley taught her how to blade for

40:43

her first bloody met in the street fight that

40:46

she had in the show. And it's like Moxley should

40:48

have sat Sky Blue down. It was

40:50

my one, my one gring of that match. You

40:55

get spiked in the head. Jimmy

40:57

Jacobs is working as

41:00

a producer, the king of

41:02

the spike. I mean, you got to show

41:04

a little more. That looks like a road rash or like a,

41:06

you know, popped

41:09

zen or something like that. But otherwise, it would

41:11

go that up. No, if

41:13

I was working, if I was a wrestler and had

41:15

to bleed for the first time, I would not go

41:17

to John Moxley. I would certainly

41:20

not go to Jimmy Jacobs. I would go to somebody

41:22

who bled like the least and most tastefully in a

41:24

match and just be like, how do I accomplish that?

41:27

Jimmy Jacobs, I had him on the Way

41:29

of the Blade podcast. I interviewed him and

41:32

he told me that on two separate occasions,

41:34

he got set home from high school for

41:36

blading during school projects. Like,

41:39

you know, like, show and tell. And

41:41

his show and tell was, look, look

41:43

at me. This is how you blade

41:45

to wrestling and covering himself with blood.

41:47

So truly one of the, truly one

41:50

of the biggest freaks in

41:52

baby wrestling history. Low key

41:54

Jimmy Jacobs. But I thought it was dope.

41:56

I thought the, I thought the kind of

41:58

the power slam by. Chris

42:01

Statlander with the chair wrapped around, I think

42:03

it was really a hard spot, he was

42:05

sick. The code blue on the

42:07

table looked really great. I loved how

42:10

the paperwork flew off when that landed.

42:12

That was cool. I don't know about

42:14

the, it may burn

42:16

a crowd out a little bit to do two of those in

42:19

the same show. I don't know, we'll see. But

42:22

I guess I thought maybe, but I get

42:24

why they did it. I'm surprised. I

42:27

agree just in general. I

42:29

mean, was this, I don't

42:31

know if the back to back for

42:34

TV was scheduled when the arena was booked.

42:36

I mean, they do a lot of double

42:38

tapings anyway. So I'm sure there's a lot

42:40

more burn the crowd out questions along

42:43

the way. You don't really notice on television. Probably

42:46

because the reason they did it was March Madness,

42:48

and they certainly knew when they

42:51

bought the arena that that Thursday

42:53

and Friday would be the first weekend of

42:55

the NCAA tournament. So you would assume that

42:58

they had figured out, because there's no collision

43:00

this week. So it's just

43:02

these three hours of AWTV that's going to

43:04

exist for this week. I

43:09

probably knew that it was that. Yeah, you're

43:12

right. It worked. I mean, if for nothing else,

43:14

it was great for the Copeland

43:16

Christian runover. They just keep the

43:18

match going as long as they

43:20

wanted, basically. The lights

43:23

go out in the house when that happened? I

43:26

think that was just a cable thing. I think that was

43:28

just the broadcast officially saying we're on to the next program

43:30

now. But I don't know. That

43:33

was the impression I was under. What did you guys

43:35

think of the Mercedes Monet promo? I

43:37

think this is the last time she needs

43:39

to come out with a microphone for 10

43:41

minutes and tell everybody in the audience how

43:43

much she loves being there and how important

43:46

they are to do that. I think the

43:50

sand has run out of the hourglass on that

43:53

particular gimmick. They

43:55

did very much the punk thing with

43:57

her. But just punk is

43:59

just... better in a 12 minute monologue

44:01

than But,

46:00

but, but there wasn't, but yeah, I

46:02

mean, when CM Punk first popped up

46:04

in AEW, there was a huge first

46:06

night and then, and he wrestled a

46:09

good bit, but then, but there was just

46:11

a litany of CM Punk

46:13

speaks, you know, promo cards that

46:15

were put out on social media, right? Like what's going

46:17

to be on, right? What's going to be on TV

46:19

tonight? Oh, CM Punk will is going to talk. CM

46:21

Punk talks to Tony Schiavone. CM Punk will have a

46:23

microphone and that's, I

46:26

think Kaz is absolutely right. You're getting your money's worth

46:28

to some extent, right? You're promising an appearance, whether or

46:30

not there's going to be a wrestling match. And I

46:32

think AEW must've seen some real value in that over

46:34

the years, but I think from a practical point of

46:36

view, I agree with you Phil. There's,

46:38

she said what she's going to say, right? And

46:40

at this point, she needs to be engaging in

46:43

professional wrestling feuds. If she has a microphone

46:45

in her hand. Yeah. And CM

46:47

Punk did the, I'm so happy to be back and

46:49

wrestling and I'm so happy to be in front of

46:51

the crowd, very similar things his first couple

46:53

of weeks. He had also been gone

46:56

a lot longer, right? And

46:58

so it really, the story of him coming back

47:00

really was I'm back after being

47:02

gone for, what is it, seven years, eight

47:05

years? She's been

47:07

gone for six months with the knee, right? I mean,

47:09

I, you know, like, so I

47:11

think it's not as, it's not as much a thing of,

47:13

oh my gosh, finally Mercedes Monet is back

47:16

on TV, maybe back on TV and she

47:18

wasn't on TV. Yeah. I mean, and there

47:21

weren't nefarious forces keeping her away. This

47:23

wasn't a, you know, this was, she

47:25

was, she left WWE. Went

47:28

on, you know, an international tour and landed

47:30

where, you know, people thought she was going

47:32

to land when she left, which is

47:34

not to say there wasn't some drama in there along

47:36

the way, but you're right. I think that we've kind

47:38

of, she said that she's told the story. She needs

47:40

to tell now. She needs to explain why

47:43

she is there as a professional wrestler, which

47:45

presumably is to win the championship.

47:48

Um, listen, Brian, Brian mentioned in the

47:50

chat that he liked the willow stuff and that, yeah,

47:52

they should move pretty quickly into that. If that's going

47:54

to be our first few. Uh,

47:56

you know, the next time that she talks,

47:59

it should be her and. Willow in

48:01

the ring together talking or heard Stoke

48:03

in the ring together talking. Yeah. And

48:05

not this is the last time I want

48:07

to hear how happy that she is. Yeah,

48:10

I agree with that. We

48:13

are happy that you're here Phil and

48:15

partly because I'm going to spring something

48:17

on you right now. I told Kaz

48:20

that I wanted to rank the

48:22

WrestleMania matches. WrestleMania

48:25

40 matches announced and not.

48:28

But now I'm wondering, should

48:30

we just do this as a draft between me and

48:32

Kaz and let Phil just tell us how stupid we

48:34

are along the way? I'm

48:36

going to tell you how stupid you are.

48:39

I'm perfectly okay. Ryan, I want your commentary

48:41

too. Here's what we're going to do. Kaz.

48:45

Yes. You get Saturday or you get Sunday. I'll give

48:47

it to you. I get Saturday. Or

48:50

we can flip a coin. Brian flip a coin for us. Sunday

48:53

goes first. Sunday goes

48:55

first. So we're drafting the WrestleMania

48:57

matches? We're drafting WrestleMania 40 matches.

49:01

Not just who you think should be on Saturday and

49:04

Sunday, blah, blah, blah. Because you can pick two Cody

49:06

Rhodes matches if they fall into your lap. You can

49:08

do whatever you want. But we're just drafting-

49:10

The main events are locked Saturday and Sunday.

49:12

We're doing everything on- No, no, no, no,

49:14

no. Whoever gets number one can choose what match

49:16

they want because you might like the

49:21

tag team Schmazfest over Rock and Roman

49:23

versus Cody and Seth. That's up to

49:25

you, man. Whatever you want to get.

49:27

Whoever picks first, takes that first match,

49:30

we're drafting the WrestleMania matches

49:33

that we think are going to be awesomeness.

49:35

And then you can define that however you

49:37

want. If you want to bounce

49:39

it out, oh, I need a women's match, oh, I need

49:41

a tag match, or whatever you can, you're not obligated to

49:44

do that. We're just picking the matches we're

49:46

most hyped about. Okay. For

49:48

WrestleMania, for whatever reason that may

49:50

be. All right. Now, you might

49:52

want to use some logic like if my

49:54

favorite- If the most exciting match in

49:57

the card was one that I think that you value none,

49:59

I'm not going to- I picked that number one because I

50:01

could get that value pick later

50:03

on. But we're just, we're just

50:05

picking wrestling, WrestleMania matches. Okay. All

50:08

right. Let's do it. Brian, you want to flip

50:10

a coin? All right. Who's sorry. So we got to

50:12

use the app. Uh, Kaz, you can call it. Ready?

50:14

I will call it in the air. Sales

50:17

never fails. Oh,

50:20

you got it. All right. Kaz,

50:22

Kaz, you're booking Sunday. Cause it's the bigger

50:25

night. Uh, you pick, you, you

50:27

get first pick for WrestleMania 40 matches. First

50:30

pick, obviously I got to go

50:33

with the main event

50:35

of all main events. Cody Rhodes,

50:37

Roman Reigns, the undisputed universal championship

50:40

bloodline rules. Uh,

50:43

obviously it's going to be a

50:45

great match, but what makes it even greater is it's

50:48

part two, we're getting there. They're running it back from

50:50

last year. Obviously the biggest

50:52

match you can make in all of

50:54

WWE, Cody Roman

50:56

for the belt. Let's go. I'm

50:59

not going to betray my, uh, my,

51:02

my list here, my rankings here.

51:05

That was not my number one pick. So that's great.

51:07

I think partly because now that

51:10

all the nuttiness seems to be

51:12

dying down about what's the match going to be.

51:16

Uh, you just get a little, uh, I'm just like every other

51:18

fan. I'm going to get a little complacent with it and I'm

51:20

going to get more excited by some other stuff. And this is

51:22

a match we've seen before, whatever. And by the way, we talked

51:24

to Freddie Prinze Jr. earlier this week, who said,

51:27

who was saying he knew it was going to happen.

51:29

And I kind of agreed with basically everything he said. Um,

51:32

but there's one note and I don't know, whatever, if this ends

51:34

up happening, I'm sorry for saying it out loud. It probably won't.

51:36

And I was wrong about all the stuff that happened on Ron

51:39

Monday. So take this with a grain of salt. But

51:41

a lot of people are booking this, you know, rock and

51:43

Roman win on Saturday night and then lose

51:46

on, and then, you know, Roman loses to

51:48

Cody on Sunday with the rock getting

51:51

in, I think what did Freddie say? The rock

51:53

was going to somehow help Cody to start a

51:56

feud with Roman Reigns. Is that the prediction? He

52:00

said something was going down. That's what he

52:02

said. I think that the

52:04

only, my only note for this is, I think

52:06

everybody knows that Cody has to win clean. He's

52:09

not going to win because the rock interfered. I

52:12

think the really safe move here is just that if the

52:14

rock is gonna get involved, let the rock deal

52:16

with solo Sequoah. Let the, if the rock is

52:19

going to stop Roman Reigns, let him get involved

52:21

in some other way. Because

52:23

Cody has to, Cody can't

52:25

win with the help of somebody else after all of

52:27

this bullshit. Anyway, I'm

52:30

gonna make my- I don't think Cody's gonna win. Oh,

52:33

don't even go there. I mean, I'm-

52:38

Okay, fellas, you're entitled to think that Cody's

52:40

gonna lose. And I will definitely entertain that.

52:42

But for the purposes of this conversation, let's

52:44

table that for a minute. You can explain

52:46

in a minute. My number one pick is

52:50

the match that I think that I will remember in

52:53

five years, the match

52:55

that my kids will remember in

52:57

five years. And that's

53:00

Cody Rhodes and

53:03

Seth Rollins versus The Rock and

53:05

Roman Reigns. Listen, the

53:08

fact that it's on Saturday night, I

53:11

understand, but this is The Rock's match. This is the

53:13

one chance that The Rock is gonna really have to

53:15

show out in the ring. So that's the match that

53:17

I'm most excited about. I think that's the one that's

53:19

gonna go down. Phil, Brian, who

53:23

do you agree or disagree with either

53:25

of us vehemently? Nah,

53:28

I mean- I'm probably more interested in the

53:30

tag match just because it's gonna be different

53:33

and I wanna see what The Rock

53:35

can do. I'm a fan of old guy

53:37

wrestling. Yes. I

53:39

always liked when Bill Watts would come back and

53:43

punch The Midnight Express or something like that.

53:45

So I really liked End of the Road

53:47

Andre. So I'm interested to see

53:49

what it's been. How many years

53:51

since The Rock- But also,

53:54

you just know somewhere, like The

53:56

Rock is gonna do

53:58

like a Canadian destroyer or something. or

54:00

just do some wildly like something

54:02

that's like not in his bag

54:04

at all just because he's the

54:06

old guy wrestler and people are gonna hit him with the

54:09

you still got it or whatever. I don't know what it's

54:11

gonna be. I don't know if it's gonna be like a

54:13

Canadian destroyer. I don't know if it's gonna be a Hurricane

54:15

or Rana. I don't know if it's gonna be like a

54:18

swan. He's gonna do something that people are gonna be

54:20

like you are too old and too muscular to do

54:22

all that rock and it's

54:25

gonna be amazing. I just don't know what it's

54:27

gonna be though. Oh yeah. I mean I don't

54:29

think he's gonna half out. I mean we just

54:31

saw Sting's last match right Sting's way older. He

54:33

was older even than The Rock and he was

54:35

taking insane lunatic bumps. I don't think The Rock's

54:37

gonna come up and you know just walk

54:40

through a house show you know 1998 house

54:42

show rock. Yeah I don't

54:44

think The Rock's gonna give us the head. I

54:46

think he's gonna yeah I think he'll do some

54:48

stuff and then there's a decent chance that he

54:50

tears his bicep three minutes into it because it's

54:52

been a long time since he wrestled. There's always

54:54

that too where he's like oh man. It's the

54:56

pretty old guy who unruffled in a decade. Not

54:59

wishing that on him. Hollywood

55:02

training schedules. They

55:06

should absolutely book that. How great would that

55:08

be if The Rock came to the ring

55:10

and did the Vince McMahon like tear both

55:12

quads or just like that. Just Shane

55:14

last year. No yeah like Shane last

55:17

year. It really should just be the it really

55:19

should be the the tricep because we've seen so

55:21

much of that. If The Rock just starts massaging

55:23

his arm you know like two minutes into the

55:25

match and just sort of like you know just

55:27

awkwardly sort of pacing around and trying to kill

55:29

time and then have it

55:31

be just a giant and just a just a decent

55:33

working that would be fantastic. Maybe have

55:36

them come to the ring accompanied by

55:38

Snoop Dogg with the idea that like

55:40

they brought back Snoop Dogg

55:42

because he's the master of injury improv and everybody'd

55:44

be like oh they got Snoop Dogg there. They're

55:47

gonna be worried about The Rock's health. It could

55:49

be like that could be like the swarm. By

55:51

the way The Rock should totally come to the ring

55:54

if we're doing a company but he should do the

55:56

full like boxing walkout and his entourage

55:58

he should have like Like the

56:00

giant Moana from Disney World, you know?

56:02

And just like everybody, like all of

56:04

the, somebody in the Shazam suit, you

56:06

know? Just like all of his characters

56:08

that he's played over the years. Stay

56:12

some, you should have stayed some with him.

56:14

Right? Oh yeah. That

56:16

would be amazing. Just all of his

56:19

co-stars, all of the wonderful

56:21

actresses who have played his wife in various

56:23

action movies. All

56:25

right, Brian, would one of

56:28

those have been your number one pick? Yeah,

56:30

actually I probably would have chose the tag match first to be

56:33

honest with you, just because it's the biggest Iraq. Yell

56:35

us such marks, follow you. Yeah,

56:38

okay. Okay, okay. The

56:41

Roman and Cody, it's all

56:43

about that match. The tag

56:45

team match loses significance in

56:47

literally 24 hours because

56:49

of the stipulation. That is true.

56:51

What happened between Cody and a

56:53

Roman? That is

56:55

absolutely correct. I don't disagree with that

56:58

at all. Both are wrong,

57:00

I'm right. I got the number one take, that's

57:02

why. That's all I had to say. All

57:06

right, this is where the draft really begins.

57:08

Here we go. Round two, Ken. All

57:11

right, round two. Round two. I'm

57:14

going with what I think is gonna be the show stealer,

57:16

the match that I think is going

57:19

to, you talk about the match that I think

57:21

people are gonna talk about for years to come. Personally,

57:26

as a fan, I hope this goes on

57:28

day one, just

57:30

because I think it

57:32

would make so much sense for it being day one-ish.

57:35

But Jimmy versus J, man. Jimmy

57:38

versus J, I think is gonna be a show

57:41

stealer. Like these are two brothers

57:44

with- That's a good pick. With

57:46

a story that I think

57:48

has layers to the bloodline, adds layers

57:50

to what I think is gonna be

57:52

happening the entire weekend. You

57:54

gotta understand there's bloodline in every

57:57

part of that night of

57:59

the main- event. But I think

58:02

if something happens between Jimmy and Jay

58:04

in that match, I think

58:06

it really it

58:08

could really, you know, foretell what's

58:11

going to happen at the main event between

58:13

the tag team of Roman and

58:15

Rock and Cody and Seth. And

58:17

then if it's a bloodline

58:19

rules match, Jay is part

58:21

of the bloodline, whether he's in

58:23

the tag team or not. I think

58:25

the Jimmy and Jay match also holds

58:28

just as many implications as the tag

58:30

team match between Cody, Roman,

58:32

Cody and Seth and Roman and Rock. Right?

58:34

Because if it does become bloodline rules match,

58:36

does that mean Jimmy and Jay are going

58:38

to be ringside during the Cody

58:40

and Roman match? Does that mean are

58:42

Jimmy and Jay going to reconcile after

58:44

they, you know, fight each other?

58:47

Like what the implications there that I don't

58:49

think the Rock sort of had to deal

58:51

with the Roman hasn't had to deal with

58:53

yet and could honestly

58:56

play into how the main event ends

58:58

between Cody and Roman Reigns.

59:01

So I'm drafting Jimmy

59:03

versus Jay, brother versus brother as my

59:06

second match. Do we think

59:08

there'll be two bloodlines after the end of the

59:11

show? Do we think there's going

59:13

to be a Rock bloodline and a Roman bloodline?

59:15

Like one on the bloodline red

59:17

and bloodline black and white? Yeah. Yeah. I

59:19

mean, I guess there's been Jacob Fatu rumors.

59:21

There's a lot of you can fill out

59:24

some Fatu's that are not around and some,

59:26

some otherwise that are still a solid. This

59:28

may be totally meaningless, but I kind of

59:30

feel like if you were going to do

59:32

like an evil bloodline, you might've just held

59:35

the authors of pain and reserves to fill

59:37

that role. You know, just, they kind of,

59:39

just cause they kind of have the looks.

59:41

They're not technically part of the bloodline. Um,

59:45

but yeah, what's the show at the

59:47

press conference? Yeah. Once they

59:49

show that tree at the press conference, I'm like, Oh,

59:51

well you can just get all these guys and have

59:53

like a bloodline pay-per-view or a bloodline civil war where

59:56

one side of the family versus another side.

59:59

Rocks in charge. How is he going to get a S and

1:00:08

S on this Kupo the bondlines again,

1:00:11

right? like if

1:00:13

you're, if you get the purse strings, you start bringing

1:00:15

in the crew, right? Yeah.

1:00:17

I mean, I would think he's, I

1:00:19

think you earned that right. When, when,

1:00:21

when, when to that level of a

1:00:23

franchise. Yeah. I mean, I do, I do think that

1:00:25

there's a, yeah, I mean,

1:00:27

I think that if you did it, you would, I

1:00:30

think you, you kind of slow play it a little bit. You

1:00:32

don't just bring in every Fatu on

1:00:34

the indie scene right now. Jacob,

1:00:37

Jacob Fatu is, is,

1:00:40

would be an incredible signing and would be a perfect fit. But

1:00:42

I think if you bring him in, you kind of water it

1:00:44

down to add too many other people at

1:00:46

the same time. So maybe yes. And maybe

1:00:48

there's a faction that's like,

1:00:51

like, like solo and

1:00:54

wait, who is the heel in this setup? Is

1:00:56

the rock the heel? Who is the heel bloodline?

1:01:00

I think you'd have to do the rock

1:01:02

solo. The rock

1:01:04

gets solo and Jimmy and maybe

1:01:07

Roman, this Jacob Fatu

1:01:09

come in, come in as a babyface to help

1:01:11

Roman. That's kind of a weird look. I don't

1:01:13

know. I do think there might be. I think

1:01:16

maybe Roman has a play here. I

1:01:19

think, I think you

1:01:21

reunite the Usos as, as Roman skies

1:01:23

and it's, and it's, and it's solo

1:01:26

and Jacob Fatu is the rocks guys.

1:01:28

Yeah. Usos have their match and at the end

1:01:31

of the match they hug. I mean,

1:01:33

I don't know. At some point you got it. You're going to bring them

1:01:35

back anyway. Oh yeah. You just gave, you

1:01:37

just gave Kaz a happy ending to his number two pick.

1:01:39

All right. I don't know

1:01:41

what might I can't pick for number two. I'm

1:01:45

looking at three matches and I'm very, very close

1:01:47

on all of them. But

1:01:52

strictly because of the just

1:01:54

wattage and the potential for

1:01:57

post match shenanigans. I'm going to go with Seth Rollins

1:01:59

versus Drew McIntyre. entire for the WWE

1:02:01

Championship. Also, Drew was just on the show on Monday,

1:02:03

so there's no way he's looking past the second pick.

1:02:08

These two guys have always

1:02:10

had incredible in-ring chemistry. For

1:02:13

years before WWE really opened up the

1:02:15

playbook a lot, I always said that

1:02:17

they were the top two WWE style

1:02:19

workers in the company. And

1:02:22

working together, they always put on a good show

1:02:24

on any given Monday Night Raw. It was all,

1:02:26

when they were both sort of like upper mid

1:02:28

card, there's always a lot of fun. Obviously,

1:02:33

Drew McIntyre and Seth Rollins are both

1:02:35

very invested in stealing

1:02:38

the show. And I think

1:02:40

they're gonna put on all the stops and-

1:02:42

I disagree. I disagree completely. What? I

1:02:44

think Drew needs to dog walk Seth. I

1:02:47

think Drew needs to fucking like put Seth in

1:02:50

the dirt. Cuz everything, like he, we had him

1:02:52

on the show. We had him on the show

1:02:54

this past week. Everything that

1:02:56

Seth has been talking about on this promos

1:02:58

have let everyone be led to believe that

1:03:01

he's distracted. He's got his- he's not focused

1:03:03

on what he needs to be focused on.

1:03:05

He's got all of his mind, body, and

1:03:08

soul wrapped into this bloodline story. Yeah. And

1:03:10

I think obviously they're not gonna fare well

1:03:12

against Roman and The Rock. And I think

1:03:14

Seth is gonna go in there a little

1:03:17

hampered. And I think it would

1:03:19

be a hell of a statement if Drew

1:03:21

McIntyre just fucking just earth Seth Rollins for

1:03:23

that World Heavyweight Championship and then just walks

1:03:26

off. Cuz he said something with

1:03:29

WWE. They always tell you where you're gonna go. He's just gonna

1:03:31

pay attention. Drew McIntyre

1:03:34

says something along the lines of, I'm

1:03:37

not gonna get the moment I deserve. I'm

1:03:39

gonna get the moment I earned. Right? So

1:03:42

I don't think we're gonna get like a matte

1:03:44

classic between Drew and Seth. I think Drew is

1:03:47

just gonna fucking smash Seth like

1:03:49

he smashed Brock Lesnar in that pandemic,

1:03:52

you know, farce of a main event

1:03:55

that he got that I'm sure he still

1:03:57

isn't satisfied with. And that would sort

1:03:59

of be- thing to

1:04:01

match that he would deserve. Like I think

1:04:03

you run it exact, I think you run

1:04:05

it back frame by frame that

1:04:07

Drew McIntyre, Brock Lesnar, pandemic match, but

1:04:09

you just do it in front of

1:04:11

80,000 people on Lincoln

1:04:14

Financial Field. Oh, I like that. Gog

1:04:16

walk, gog walk, gog walk, walks out with

1:04:18

the title. And it's

1:04:21

just like, oh my God, we have a new

1:04:23

monster as the World Heavyweight Champion. Well, and icing

1:04:25

on the cake would be for him to just

1:04:27

dog walk Seth and then Damian Priest could come

1:04:29

out and cash in and then you can dog

1:04:31

walk Damian Priest too. You can just be the

1:04:33

professional dog walker that's just taking everybody in the

1:04:35

neighborhood's dogs out at the same time. And now

1:04:37

it's like, who wants some? You know what I

1:04:39

mean? Now, that can be a lot of fun.

1:04:41

She's feeling punk, right? Regardless, I mean, this is

1:04:43

a tough pick. There are a lot of matches

1:04:46

that are right up there at the top for me in

1:04:48

terms of how much I'm hyped for them. But that's, I

1:04:51

mean, come on, it's a title match. I

1:04:55

can't overthink this. All right, what's your third pick? Or

1:04:57

second, no, you got a third pick. My

1:05:00

third pick, I'm gonna go with

1:05:03

Rhea Ripley, Becky Lynch

1:05:05

for the Women's World

1:05:07

Championship. I

1:05:10

think this match outside of the

1:05:12

men's, outside of the Rock Roman,

1:05:15

Bloodline, Cody Seth, you know, Fairy

1:05:19

Tail has the most star power

1:05:21

in it. Like I think it's the most like

1:05:23

person for person star power match on the card

1:05:25

between Rhea Ripley and Becky

1:05:27

Lynch and Rhea Ripley and Becky

1:05:29

Lynch and the past

1:05:32

two Wrestlemanias have arguably had

1:05:34

the best matches on the card

1:05:37

in back to back years. Two years ago, Becky

1:05:39

Lynch and Bianca Belair tore it up in

1:05:42

the classic. Last year, Rhea Ripley

1:05:44

and Charlotte Flair tore it up in a classic.

1:05:47

I have no reason to think Becky and

1:05:49

Rhea, who I think, you know, I think

1:05:51

Rhea, just the way she works with slider

1:05:54

people, like smaller folks, just sort of

1:05:56

like lends herself to all of her

1:05:59

strengths and. Becky Lynch, who just has like

1:06:01

a fire about her, especially

1:06:03

to somebody who is as powerful as Rhea Ripley,

1:06:05

I think it's going to make for just some

1:06:08

great, great moments during that match and some moments

1:06:10

that you really think she's going to end

1:06:12

Rhea Ripley's run

1:06:14

or life, whatever. Oh, the

1:06:17

other way would be life, I guess. Yes. But

1:06:20

I think it's going to be a great match. Rhea

1:06:23

Ripley and Becky Lynch, they're going

1:06:25

to tear the house down too. That's my third pick.

1:06:29

My third pick is

1:06:34

Gunther versus Sami Zayn. I

1:06:36

think that they, all the,

1:06:38

any questions that anyone had about this match, about

1:06:40

Chad Gables, whether or not Chad Gables deserved to

1:06:42

be in Sami Zayn's spot, I think that was

1:06:45

put to bed on Monday night. And

1:06:48

I have no doubt that Sami

1:06:50

Zayn trying to dethrone Gunther is going

1:06:53

to have the

1:06:55

crowd more engaged than any other match short

1:06:57

of one

1:07:00

of the two main events. I

1:07:05

think this is going to

1:07:07

be a huge kind of

1:07:09

redemption opportunity for Sami Zayn. I think he's probably

1:07:11

going to have one of the top two, three

1:07:13

entrance moments of the night, just because people love

1:07:15

to get down to that song and

1:07:17

love Sami Zayn. And I really think this is

1:07:20

a big moment for Gunther too. I think he's

1:07:22

probably going to end up retaining and the way

1:07:24

that they kind of ring

1:07:26

the drama out of that is going to be a

1:07:28

lot of fun. Phil, any thoughts? Yeah,

1:07:32

I think that's the best in-ring

1:07:34

match of the weekend

1:07:36

for the WWE for sure. Gunther

1:07:39

is really great. Gunther

1:07:42

is great at being a Goliath

1:07:45

and Sami is pretty great at being a David

1:07:47

and that's like a classic pro wrestling

1:07:49

trope. It's pretty hard to mess up and I

1:07:51

imagine that's going to be, yeah, that should be

1:07:53

great. And I think

1:07:57

Gunther retains, but at some point you might want to

1:07:59

have a... I don't think

1:08:01

he's going to do it forever. So maybe

1:08:03

this is Sammy Getzim and this is

1:08:05

a chance for Gunther to move up

1:08:07

and be a Cody opponent

1:08:10

or Roman opponent or Drew McIntyre

1:08:13

opponent. I hate to go

1:08:15

to, I hate

1:08:18

to fantasy book or make suggestions that

1:08:20

I worry are too obvious. Sometimes

1:08:22

they just feel like things that I would have fantasy booked when I was 12

1:08:25

and sometimes that's the coolest way to do it. But

1:08:27

WWE is not obvious. They do

1:08:29

things that are straightforward but not always

1:08:31

that are just silly obvious. So

1:08:34

I hesitate to say this but there's

1:08:38

no way that

1:08:40

Chad Gable joins Imperium. Is

1:08:43

there? I

1:08:45

don't think so. I

1:08:49

don't think so. I mean he kind of

1:08:51

fits despite being American. He's got everything else.

1:08:53

He checks every other box for them, right?

1:08:55

I guess they don't really need a fourth

1:08:57

dude but like I don't know. He's

1:09:00

going to be involved in this storyline and

1:09:02

I really just don't know. And

1:09:08

I don't really know what the next step is. So that

1:09:10

was a little bit on the nose maybe but that's where

1:09:12

I was thinking. Maybe he

1:09:14

ends up maybe he ends up helping Sammy. Maybe he

1:09:16

ends up actually giving him good advice and helping him

1:09:18

train and he's the reason that Sammy wins and sometimes

1:09:21

I don't know. But his involvement in

1:09:24

it. He's a George the Animal Steel

1:09:26

of WrestleMania 3, George the Animal Steel

1:09:29

of that match. Helping Ricky Steamboat. Yeah

1:09:31

I mean I think that that's. Listen

1:09:34

this is going to be a stacked card.

1:09:36

Being involved in a storyline. Solo Sakura has

1:09:39

this whatever Solo Sakura does at

1:09:41

WrestleMania is going to be a

1:09:43

bigger deal than

1:09:46

what most wrestlers get to

1:09:48

do in their lifetime. So just

1:09:50

being involved is cool. I'm very interested

1:09:53

with the fact that Gable is still involved in

1:09:55

this match. Anyway let's keep rolling Kaz. What's

1:09:58

your number four pick? My number

1:10:00

four pick triple threat

1:10:02

match for the United States Championship,

1:10:05

Logan Paul, Randy

1:10:07

Orton, Kevin Owens.

1:10:10

Incredible chemistry, incredible

1:10:13

potential for this match. I think

1:10:16

Logan Paul sort of being the

1:10:18

lucha in this match, like the

1:10:20

kind of light heavyweight out of

1:10:22

these three. It's gonna make for

1:10:24

some interesting double teams on Logan

1:10:26

Paul. I think

1:10:30

Logan Paul is gonna get his ass whooped,

1:10:32

right? Like I think there's gonna be moments

1:10:34

where like Randy and KO just

1:10:36

take turns just teeing off

1:10:38

on this guy all over

1:10:40

a prime logo, just taking

1:10:43

stunners, taking RKO's, taking pop-up

1:10:45

power bombs, and then just looking

1:10:47

at each other like, yeah, we really beat the crap

1:10:49

out of him. It was notable that when they announced

1:10:51

the match on SmackDown that neither Orton, I

1:10:53

mean that Orton and Owens were standing shoulder to

1:10:55

shoulder in the ring, didn't

1:10:57

take that moment to be like, oh now we got

1:11:00

a fight, right? They were both just like, I mean,

1:11:02

Owens was just like, yeah, this really sucks for Logan

1:11:04

Paul and just sort of like, Yeah, yeah.

1:11:07

I gotta get the ass beat. I was sort

1:11:09

of subconsciously averse to a Logan Paul triple threat

1:11:12

because I just like the idea of him being

1:11:14

in a one-on-one, but I think that the more

1:11:16

I live with this, the more I think it's

1:11:18

gonna be just incredible fun. So what were you

1:11:21

gonna say? Do

1:11:23

we think we got a Tyson appearance? Oh,

1:11:26

because he's gonna be fighting his

1:11:28

brother? Yeah, do they

1:11:30

have a thing where Jake Paul tries

1:11:33

to interfere in the match and

1:11:35

Iron Mike comes out and Daxom or

1:11:37

Iron Mike comes out and they have a

1:11:39

couple of partners. And

1:11:41

then if he does, then Kaz

1:11:44

just got to steal the draft. Right, it's on Netflix too. Mike

1:11:48

Tyson in Philadelphia, a boxman's down.

1:11:50

Mm. Yeah, I

1:11:52

mean, it feels like a no brainer, right?

1:11:54

You gotta, because that's, that

1:11:56

thing, the Paul Mike Tyson thing is

1:11:58

that's sports entertainment. that it's boxing,

1:12:00

right? Oh, yeah. It's closer to pro

1:12:02

wrestling than it is to be boxing in

1:12:05

case the ringer is

1:12:07

thinking about sending somebody to that, want

1:12:09

to send somebody that's experienced writing about

1:12:13

sports entertainment. Yeah,

1:12:15

it was a decorated one

1:12:18

in three amateur Golden Gomes boxer in

1:12:20

the early 2000s. Nice

1:12:25

with these hands. I'm just pointing out you

1:12:27

might have somebody like that in your rolodex.

1:12:29

Your boys don't call this shot right now. Yes,

1:12:32

exactly. They didn't watch that

1:12:34

right hand back in the day, Kaz. Just

1:12:39

point that out. You don't want any part of it. No,

1:12:41

you're right. It is. It's like

1:12:44

the best of both worlds. It's like

1:12:46

sports entertainment, but also someone can

1:12:48

get killed. So it's just an

1:12:50

incredible spectacle. No, that's a

1:12:52

really good note. I think Tyson shows up in this.

1:12:54

Yeah, that is wow. And

1:13:00

I know this is not A to B, but it's also

1:13:02

notable that they haven't really figured out what Stallone is doing

1:13:04

yet. Maybe they're just sitting around like

1:13:06

we don't need Sly because we got Mike Tyson

1:13:08

in our back pocket. I don't know. It's kind

1:13:10

of interesting. Yeah, that could be

1:13:12

a whole lot of fun. Between

1:13:15

Randy, wait, so Tyson comes in to

1:13:18

hurt Logan Paul in this fantasy

1:13:20

booking scenario. Jake

1:13:23

Paul comes in to interfere. Tyson comes out to

1:13:25

stop it and they do like a pull apart.

1:13:28

Maybe nobody even the odd. Yeah. Yeah.

1:13:31

It's like here comes out your Mike. Everybody pulls

1:13:33

them apart. They trash talk and pointed each other.

1:13:35

They don't have Mike doesn't throw

1:13:37

a punch. You got to save that. Well,

1:13:39

I just remember to the season. I

1:13:42

always say Owen is a

1:13:44

huge Mike Tyson thing. Like he used

1:13:46

to walk around backstage with the Tyson shirts. Oh,

1:13:49

there you go. I was going to say, who do

1:13:51

you who do you think wins if Logan Paul loses?

1:13:53

Who do you think walks out with the title? Is

1:13:55

it? I don't think Logan

1:13:57

Paul is going to lose. Oh,

1:14:00

really? Yeah, I think it's an

1:14:02

ass beat and still and still win like

1:14:04

he's gonna somehow figure out a banana and

1:14:06

get like dragged out the ring, you know,

1:14:09

yeah, yeah, but think we're Orton and

1:14:11

Owens work together for most of

1:14:13

the match and then Orton tries

1:14:16

to pin. Well,

1:14:18

yeah, Paul Owens pulls them off. They fight a

1:14:21

little bit. And then

1:14:23

Logan Paul banana peels a win. Is

1:14:26

that thing goes? I think I

1:14:28

agree. All right, well, we

1:14:31

can table that discussion. Brian, are you on board so

1:14:33

far? Don't

1:14:36

tell us what pics you're going to make. I don't want you

1:14:38

to influence either. So you get at the end, you guys can

1:14:40

tell us our biggest misses. Now

1:14:43

that was your pick, right? So so is it my

1:14:45

pick now? Yes, your pick. Three

1:14:48

four one two three. Yeah. All right.

1:14:50

Well, I'm going to go digital. I

1:14:52

mean, there's again, there's so many good matches, but

1:14:54

I got to go with Bayley versus the sky.

1:14:57

That Bayley versus the sky in full disclosure could

1:14:59

have been my number two pick. I am so

1:15:02

excited for Bayley. And

1:15:04

I think the whole crowd is going to be there too. Really

1:15:07

excited about the potential for the sky in a big moment.

1:15:10

And I think they're going

1:15:12

to end up booking. You

1:15:14

know, oh, we should probably said

1:15:17

this at the top. I think they're probably

1:15:19

going to end up booking Bianca Belair and

1:15:21

Naomi versus the Kabuki Warriors, and they're also

1:15:23

going to end up booking some sort of

1:15:25

L.W.O. versus Legato something something. Um,

1:15:30

if they weren't, if they don't book a

1:15:32

women's tag title match, this match actually gets

1:15:34

more interesting. I mean, because you you're, you're

1:15:36

definitely going to have to find time and

1:15:38

involvement for like four, five other people. Um,

1:15:42

but you

1:15:44

cannot have Bianca Belair on the show. She's

1:15:46

got to, yeah. So the

1:15:48

question, right. I think she's got, I feel

1:15:50

very certain showing up in a tag match

1:15:52

alongside Naomi against the Kabuki Warriors. That's the

1:15:54

prediction. That's my going prediction now. Um,

1:15:57

but I, but you know, I'll just keep it. I'll just end it there.

1:15:59

It was kind of. versus Bailey, this is a huge

1:16:01

match. It's huge for Bailey, huge

1:16:03

for EOS guy. And I think they're really gonna do

1:16:05

it. I think

1:16:08

it's gonna be one of the biggest matches on the

1:16:10

show. So anyway, Kaz, pick number five. Six

1:16:13

pack ladder match tag team

1:16:15

titles. You got Judgment Day,

1:16:17

you got DIY, you got

1:16:20

the New Day, awesome

1:16:23

truth and two teams to be determined.

1:16:25

That's gonna be, so let's see. Street

1:16:31

Profits, so

1:16:33

New Catch Republic won, right?

1:16:36

And what,

1:16:38

the Legato guys won, Umberto

1:16:42

and Angel. So

1:16:46

it's gonna be either with

1:16:48

the Street Profits versus the Authors of Pain as one

1:16:50

of the qualifiers. That can kind of

1:16:52

go either way, but it'd be crazy if the Street

1:16:55

Profits weren't in this match. And

1:16:59

if they're healthy or available, and then the

1:17:01

O.T. versus Austin Theory and Grayson Waller. I

1:17:04

think Theory and Waller got this nailed

1:17:06

down. I

1:17:09

would have thought that they would just get Austin Theory and

1:17:11

Waller over there involved in Logan Paul shit,

1:17:13

and then they would end up with the Profits and

1:17:15

Authors of Pain in this match. So it's a little

1:17:17

bit surprising, but those are your two other ones. Anyway,

1:17:19

this match is gonna be bonkers. I mean, it's kind

1:17:22

of impossible to predict, but what we do know is

1:17:25

that there are 12 people involved and

1:17:27

a bunch of ladders, 12 big stars. They

1:17:30

obviously leaned into legacy in this match, right?

1:17:32

We don't have pretty deadly in here. We

1:17:34

don't have some, I mean, there are some

1:17:36

younger teams, but they went

1:17:38

just for like established star power. We got

1:17:40

the awesome truth in this match. You know,

1:17:43

DIY over the Creed, this is like the

1:17:45

biggest names they could put in there. So

1:17:47

my guess is that these 12 guys are

1:17:49

probably gonna get, I mean, what

1:17:51

would you guess? Half an hour to go out there and

1:17:53

just do a lot of crazy stuff for the ladder. It's

1:17:56

gonna be a big time match. Yeah,

1:17:58

it's the match that. when you're watching WrestleMania

1:18:01

at home with a bunch of friends, that

1:18:04

is the easiest to catch with

1:18:06

the casual eye because people are

1:18:08

falling off of ladders, going, you

1:18:10

know, scaling it, jumping off. There's

1:18:12

like 12 people that multi-man ladder

1:18:14

match is always, always the eye

1:18:16

catcher for the casuals, right? Like,

1:18:20

I think the last WrestleMania I saw

1:18:22

that I wasn't in attendance for was

1:18:24

night one of WrestleMania Dallas,

1:18:27

I want to say. And, you

1:18:29

know, watching it on TV, like, yeah, like

1:18:32

as you're watching on TV or watching on

1:18:34

Twitter, you catch your like casual

1:18:36

friends who aren't into wrestling just kind of

1:18:38

because it's WrestleMania and there's something to watch

1:18:40

on. And it's always those multi-man matches

1:18:42

that make you go, Oh my God, this shit

1:18:44

is crazy. Oh my God, I can't believe people

1:18:46

still watch this, but I can't stop watching it.

1:18:49

So that's, that's what you get that

1:18:51

match for. I think it's going to

1:18:53

be super fun. They always are. I hope

1:18:56

nobody dies. And I'm taking that

1:18:58

one. I

1:19:00

think if we're not officially counting the women's tag team

1:19:02

match or whatever they do with legato and lw. Oh,

1:19:04

I would take the women's tag match first, but just

1:19:07

for the sake of ending this draft, throwing

1:19:09

it a night. I think I

1:19:11

pick LA night versus AJ Styles, which

1:19:14

not for nothing. It's going

1:19:16

to be fun. It's going to be a really great match. LA

1:19:18

LA night is Lamarcus night.

1:19:21

Lamarcus. Well, Marcus Aldridge name. Yeah. Mama

1:19:23

called his mama called him. Well, we tried

1:19:25

to decide what Ellie stood for. And I

1:19:27

think we determined the only time he'd ever

1:19:30

heard LA use initials is with Lamarcus Aldridge.

1:19:32

So that's, that's his official name. Um,

1:19:35

Lamarcus Lamarcus is, uh, is

1:19:38

shoot one of the biggest stars in the company and AJ

1:19:40

styles, the man that I've referred to many times as the

1:19:43

new Mr. WrestleMania hasn't always panned out. I wish they would

1:19:45

have just booked him that way, but, um,

1:19:47

he's, you know, quite the dastardly

1:19:49

villain now. And, uh, this match

1:19:52

is going to be a lot of fun.

1:19:54

Actually, it's nice to see LA night

1:19:56

seeming really pissed off and not

1:19:58

just really, you know. The iron himself.

1:20:00

So we i think that this could be

1:20:03

you know. This. Is this could

1:20:05

be a cool? a cool little mini evolutionary set for

1:20:07

him. And. A

1:20:09

good opportunity to sort of what his answer the

1:20:12

question about. You know, How

1:20:14

he if he if he could really go given the

1:20:16

right dance partner in a big time match. It's

1:20:18

tough to have the rock back of your

1:20:20

alley night. Oh. Yeah. It's

1:20:24

in canada of it's know you're you're

1:20:26

like it's like you know if body

1:20:28

lay down the smokey about grp that

1:20:30

somehow court outside flyer of what the

1:20:33

science eyes as of I think that

1:20:35

ah I could he could use the

1:20:37

opportunity to show up for they because

1:20:39

there's been some lost her take a

1:20:42

side taken off that when you with

1:20:44

yeah actually got the guy who. Started.

1:20:47

The thing they are on t

1:20:49

on. It. Is an interesting

1:20:51

thing. Because. You're.

1:20:53

right? I mean you could. You could make

1:20:56

a billion different points of comparison year land

1:20:58

elsewhere. I'm as good. An.

1:21:00

By. You know it's like if the yeah it's ideas

1:21:03

like a restaurant bring back your favorite sandwich or whatever

1:21:05

and like he would he do with his sandwich of

1:21:07

was kind of sound the space in the meantime. But.

1:21:09

The crazy thing though is. And

1:21:12

it's have begun. Litigate disappears and entire

1:21:14

show. If they put them in the

1:21:16

ring together. There. Be a

1:21:18

huge percentage of the crowd that would

1:21:20

relish in being on l a night

1:21:23

side. right? In making the

1:21:25

rock look bad, as if they were in

1:21:27

a position of going toe to toe. But

1:21:29

that might actually be like

1:21:32

a wrestling court. Verdict

1:21:34

that I were I would act where I would side

1:21:36

with the old school. He. That might be

1:21:38

word or I'm just like know, That's why you would

1:21:40

never put the rock in that position because it wouldn't

1:21:42

be fair and it wouldn't do. it would be. It

1:21:45

would just be the crowd being ironic. It wouldn't really

1:21:47

be them reacting in good faith. But. It

1:21:49

would be based ever wanted to give Elena

1:21:51

that he i swear to God put em

1:21:53

and a microphone showdown with the rock and

1:21:55

let the crowd reacts as they will send.

1:21:57

you probably see a lot. A lot of.

1:22:00

lot of people that are like, Yeah, let's

1:22:02

take our guy over our dad's guy. You

1:22:05

know, I mean, I think it

1:22:07

would be very interesting. And

1:22:10

there's also a decent chance that LA night

1:22:13

ends up in that in that box that

1:22:15

they are. What were the

1:22:17

cheerleaders Brian, when I put

1:22:19

the spirit squad back to OVW box to

1:22:21

if he ends up in the ring with

1:22:25

Oh, no, that's I know, I think that's totally

1:22:27

plausible. I just think that I

1:22:29

don't I think the rock would win,

1:22:32

right? But this is like, but like, this is

1:22:34

like a rap battle where we're LA night is the

1:22:36

is the hometown guy, right? And he just gets a

1:22:38

week gets way too much credit

1:22:41

from the crowd. Yeah, I

1:22:43

don't know, man. I think

1:22:45

it's I don't think I don't think it'll go that way.

1:22:50

I don't like LA night. If

1:22:53

you think it's a fair fight, if you think they're gonna

1:22:55

take out that I think it's an even better idea. Like

1:22:58

Cody was getting like almost like

1:23:00

a mixed reaction from the rock

1:23:03

on on on smackdown this past week.

1:23:06

I think it is good practice

1:23:08

to keep LA night and the rock far

1:23:11

away from each other. Yeah, I agree with

1:23:13

that. I agree. Definitely.

1:23:16

Doesn't have favors. Yeah,

1:23:18

it's probably true. Okay, anyway, well,

1:23:21

how do we Brian? What

1:23:23

was our biggest? What was our biggest miss? Is there a match that

1:23:26

you would have had way higher than we took it? Yeah,

1:23:28

Bailey and EO. That probably that

1:23:30

could have been number two for me. But I

1:23:33

I think when when

1:23:36

when Kaz took when

1:23:39

Kaz took Ripley and

1:23:41

Lynch, I is like he's not going to go back to back

1:23:43

with women's title matches. So I can I can wait on this

1:23:46

one. I mean, what

1:23:48

do you what

1:23:50

about you think that would be better, Brian? The

1:23:52

Bayley. You think that would give me the better match?

1:23:55

I think I'm just so much more invested in the

1:23:57

story and the way they've

1:23:59

been working together. how this split has happened.

1:24:01

So that's, you know, that's what I'm more invested

1:24:04

in. Yeah,

1:24:06

I think, I think Bailey and EO has

1:24:09

the opportunity for a happy ending. I

1:24:11

don't think it's going to be, to Phil's

1:24:14

point, I'm not sure how many happy

1:24:16

endings we're going to get this, this

1:24:19

WrestleMania, but I think Bailey standing tall

1:24:21

as the WWE Women's Champion is

1:24:24

going to make for great sight. I

1:24:26

don't think Becky's beaten Rhea Ripley. I

1:24:29

don't think Sami's beaten Gunther. Sammy

1:24:34

Gunther on Night One or Night Two? We

1:24:36

don't know yet. Nothing's been, nothing except for the

1:24:40

bloodline matches has been, or, you know, we know

1:24:42

that, we know that Cody Roman and Seth Drew

1:24:44

are on Night Two because the tag match is

1:24:46

on Night One, but that's all we know for

1:24:48

sure. I think

1:24:52

the batting odds on Cody

1:24:56

Roman change if Sammy

1:25:00

beats Gunther. Oh, yeah,

1:25:02

I think so too, because, you know,

1:25:04

there's going to only be one underdog,

1:25:06

you know, little white meat baby face

1:25:08

victory. I mean, that doesn't have to be only

1:25:10

one, but I think that would be some of

1:25:12

the backstage logic. Phil, is

1:25:15

there a match that we picked low that you would

1:25:17

have put higher or are you pretty close? You

1:25:20

know, I'm more interested

1:25:22

in the bangers than the storyline

1:25:24

stuff. So I probably would have

1:25:27

had Sammy Gunther a

1:25:29

little higher, but I got drafted really high. So maybe

1:25:31

not, right? It's like, I don't, I don't, I think

1:25:33

that's probably the match that I'm looking forward to the

1:25:35

most. You don't think, you don't think Roman Cody is

1:25:37

going to be a banger given all the story. You

1:25:39

don't think it's going to deliver on both story and

1:25:42

be a hell of a singles match as well.

1:25:44

Like I think we're going to bring his work

1:25:46

that night. We've had this conversation. I didn't think

1:25:48

their match last year was that good. And I

1:25:50

don't, I'm not, I'm low on Cody. And you

1:25:52

know, I've always been a little low on Cody

1:25:55

as a wrestler. Yeah. Yeah. I'm a Dustin guy,

1:25:57

man. Edit:

1:26:01

I've the i don't I don't see good.

1:26:03

I think that the what is likely going

1:26:05

to be. Very

1:26:08

similar to a lot of the Roman reigns made

1:26:10

of as we've seen over the last three years. Other

1:26:12

gonna be a lot a lot us. Mr.

1:26:15

Goff and a lot of. Here. From Solos

1:26:17

to Call and Say Yes to Daytona.

1:26:19

An incredible job of building the story

1:26:21

for this night. But the actual Belda

1:26:24

Bell stuff? I'm I'm I'm would. I

1:26:26

would love to be pleasantly surprised. I

1:26:28

think that one of the people or joke

1:26:31

that every Roman Reigns matches the same wrestlers

1:26:33

apparently can joke about that on screen Now.

1:26:35

But. One of the really amazing triumphs of the

1:26:37

Roman Reigns era. these have been of the past

1:26:40

year so that is it. Every measure of in

1:26:42

the same and yet. And.

1:26:45

We'll. Always, you don't You don't sit the Roman

1:26:47

Reigns match like saying okay when so sick and we're

1:26:49

going to show up the yeah, you're pretty invested in

1:26:51

the minute by minute match. but I think. This.

1:26:54

One is actually going to go the other way. I think

1:26:56

that there's so many. The. Like is

1:26:58

it is the inevitability of not just

1:27:00

so as ago a getting involved with

1:27:02

the right getting involved, potentially other members

1:27:04

of the bloodline getting involved. Were.

1:27:08

Going to have to wait potentially twenty five minutes for

1:27:10

any of those people to show up and then won't

1:27:12

win source code dojo of we know he's not the

1:27:14

last person is showing up. I

1:27:16

think it might actually affect negatively affect your

1:27:19

preciation the first twenty minutes the match which

1:27:21

which would be sad if so you know

1:27:23

I'm not a know man I think is

1:27:25

going to be one last sort of. Oh.

1:27:28

Sit that happens is annoying. I think that's

1:27:30

true I'd as I actually agree with you

1:27:32

are at the Be a big be at

1:27:34

the be a moment of a bloodline mind

1:27:36

that the Thera would be the Romans benefit

1:27:39

or third yeah of Roman of ambush. You

1:27:41

know Roman and Rock Overcoat and Surface celebrate

1:27:43

their about the go off the air. Roman

1:27:46

says you know right before right before

1:27:48

they go affair rock grub. Roman his

1:27:50

i listen man would be perez. Was.

1:27:52

glove on rules tomorrow our entire family

1:27:55

is gonna be out there was you

1:27:57

destroyed his do once and for all

1:28:00

If you don't beat him, you're out

1:28:02

of the family. I

1:28:05

would be also like, yo, if our entire,

1:28:08

you, you are our entire

1:28:10

bloodline from Japan, Tongas,

1:28:14

and the way everybody

1:28:16

surrounding the ring at

1:28:19

that match. If you let us down, if you

1:28:21

fail in front of all of them, I don't

1:28:23

care what you did for these past thousand something

1:28:26

days. If you fail in front

1:28:28

of our entire family, they'll be held

1:28:30

to pay. Yeah, no, I agree. I

1:28:32

agree. But I still think that that

1:28:34

affects the way that you watch a match, right? Even

1:28:37

though I don't know what's going to happen, but I

1:28:39

know that nothing between Roman Reigns and Cody Rhodes matters

1:28:41

because there's something that's going to happen. Right?

1:28:46

Here's what I'm saying. When Kevin

1:28:48

Nash got the buck in WCW, he

1:28:50

made sure he was the one that

1:28:52

ended Goldberg Street. And

1:28:57

now the power player is

1:28:59

a WWE and he's the

1:29:01

guy who's got the control. And I think

1:29:03

he's not, I don't think Cody Rhodes is

1:29:06

going to be the guy that ends that

1:29:08

streak. I think Rock is going to end

1:29:10

that streak. And it's just,

1:29:13

it's just a history of pro wrestling, right?

1:29:15

If you end up with the, with the,

1:29:17

with the strong hand, then

1:29:19

you're the guy who goes over. It

1:29:21

just, it just would really surprise me. And

1:29:23

Rock's the guy who had in his Hollywood contract that he

1:29:26

was never going to lose a fight. And

1:29:28

I just feel like he's going to be the

1:29:30

guy who ends up with that streak. So I

1:29:32

think whatever the Michigan is, I would be very

1:29:34

surprised if Cody Rhodes has that belt at the

1:29:37

end of the night. So I'm, I know that's

1:29:39

not the, that's not the popular opinion, but that's

1:29:41

the, that's the one I'm going to, I'm staking

1:29:43

my claim on for just having

1:29:45

watched wrestling my entire life and knowing how that,

1:29:47

how that, how the politics of it usually works.

1:29:51

Wow. Well, thanks for ending everything

1:29:54

on a downer. No, I think I let

1:29:56

him. Downer to who? Downer to

1:29:58

who? Are you kidding? I

1:30:00

would be dying. Listen,

1:30:02

I've said this on plenty shows that we've

1:30:05

talked about in the past several weeks. I

1:30:07

truly believe Cody's finally going to win this match and finish

1:30:09

the story and all this type of stuff. But

1:30:13

boy, if he doesn't, boy,

1:30:16

if he doesn't, it is going to be

1:30:18

the most. There's so much, listen,

1:30:20

I'm sorry. There's so much more

1:30:22

intrigue if this dude loses again. Like

1:30:25

there's so much more intrigue if

1:30:27

he loses again after a time.

1:30:31

It's the happy ending. It's the right

1:30:33

ending. It's the moment that,

1:30:36

you know, does one great moment Trump

1:30:39

years of great work. Who knows?

1:30:42

But man, is there so much intrigue in

1:30:44

this guy if he comes all this way

1:30:46

and loses again, I

1:30:48

don't think it's going to happen. I don't think it's

1:30:50

going to happen nor do I think it should happen.

1:30:53

Oh boy, if it did, I would

1:30:56

be like, I can't wait to watch Monday Night

1:30:58

Raw tomorrow to see what the hell is going

1:31:00

to happen. You know, Cody wins. Like I know

1:31:03

it's going to happen. The fireworks

1:31:05

going to come out. He's going to, they're going to

1:31:07

put, you know, they're going to blow the pyro budget

1:31:09

the next day on the raw. You

1:31:11

deserve it. Holding the title. Like I've seen

1:31:13

the story. Like I know what's going to

1:31:16

happen the day after raw. If Cody wins,

1:31:18

I have no clue what's going to happen.

1:31:21

If Cody loses again,

1:31:23

yeah, after WrestleMania. One

1:31:25

question. Do you think

1:31:27

we should read anything into the

1:31:29

rock saying he's going to make Seth's title disappear?

1:31:31

Like, is he going to be involved in that

1:31:33

match too? Is he, is

1:31:36

he just talking to any, obviously he's, but

1:31:38

there was sort of a slip of the

1:31:40

tongue where he said, I'm going to take

1:31:42

that title disappear when he was performing his

1:31:44

rock concert on Smackdown. Um, so

1:31:46

I don't know if that was implying that, you know, every mistake

1:31:48

so far seems to be deliberate. Um,

1:31:51

doesn't look like there's any way for the rock

1:31:53

to actually get the title at WrestleMania, although it'd

1:31:55

be fucking hilarious if he just, you know, commandeer

1:31:58

the money in the bank briefcase and in

1:32:00

after that match or whatever. But

1:32:04

I wonder if the Rock's

1:32:06

relationship with Seth continues at

1:32:08

all after Saturday night or is this just are

1:32:10

we just moved on to Seth and- If there

1:32:12

is, now you just got

1:32:14

my brain wired

1:32:17

now, right? Drew's entire

1:32:19

story is that, Drew,

1:32:22

you got to focus on this match.

1:32:24

Stop worrying about the bloodline. Stop involving

1:32:26

yourself in this, right? Rock

1:32:29

keeps saying, I'm your boss. You listen to me, I can

1:32:31

do whatever I want. What if

1:32:33

right after Roman and

1:32:35

Rock beat Seth and

1:32:38

Cody at that taxi match,

1:32:40

he's like, I

1:32:42

told you I was going to make that title disappear and beating

1:32:46

you tonight isn't enough. So

1:32:48

tomorrow, your World

1:32:50

Heavyweight Championship match is now triple threat

1:32:52

match. And now Drew's extra

1:32:54

pissed because now he's got to fucking

1:32:56

go through two people and all that

1:32:59

stuff. And fucking

1:33:01

Rock walks out with the

1:33:04

World Heavyweight Championship and then it's a

1:33:06

bloodline rules match. And then the entire

1:33:08

family is sitting out there watching Cody

1:33:11

versus Roman while Rock is holding his

1:33:13

newly won World Heavyweight Championship and

1:33:16

Roman loses his title, right?

1:33:19

And then that's when you banish Roman from

1:33:21

the family. It's like you've won our entire family.

1:33:24

That would also be the musing political

1:33:26

hit by the Rock because

1:33:28

now Cody wins, but

1:33:30

now that's the secondary title, would be

1:33:32

the music political move by the Rock.

1:33:34

It's like, okay, yeah, here, you got

1:33:37

your title. You finished this story, you

1:33:39

did it. But now that title doesn't

1:33:41

mean shit because I have- Now that

1:33:43

title is the wish.com World Championship, but

1:33:45

this one is the real one. There

1:33:48

you go. That

1:33:50

works with my series that once

1:33:52

you get the hands, you use every ounce

1:33:54

of it too. If

1:33:58

the last- like Like

1:34:03

I could totally see like the last rabbit that

1:34:05

they pull out of the hat is rock working

1:34:07

both nights and You

1:34:09

know just right after the taxi match say yes,

1:34:11

I'm not done with you yet motherfucker Now

1:34:15

I'm in your world heavyweight championship match

1:34:17

tomorrow in the co-made event of WrestleMania

1:34:19

I told you I was gonna be on the main

1:34:21

event I told you and you guys took her for

1:34:23

me and now I'm taking it back. I will see

1:34:25

you tomorrow. Yeah That

1:34:30

would be so fucking great. It would

1:34:32

be fantastic. It'd be fantastic It's like

1:34:34

there's used to be the working. What is it?

1:34:36

What they call it the working man's world championship

1:34:38

The workman title and the rocks just like yeah,

1:34:41

okay now it's the people's title, you know, it's

1:34:43

just like bosses title. Yeah No,

1:34:45

okay. Well guys we booked WrestleMania. I appreciate your involvement

1:34:47

in all this. We got to get out of here

they made your tickets, VIP tickets are

1:36:06

1:36:10

tickets are completely sold out. General admission is still

1:36:12

available. So get them on. Let me tell

1:36:14

you something. You don't want

1:36:17

newly released VIP tickets. All that means is they're

1:36:19

just putting a velvet rope somewhere else in the

1:36:21

room. Nobody wants to be in a crowded VIP.

1:36:24

I'm going to tell you right now. I'm going to give

1:36:26

you the jig, right? The best look is GA. The

1:36:29

best look is going to be GA. For the type

1:36:31

of show this is, for the type of event this

1:36:33

is, it's a party. You want to be around people.

1:36:35

You want to see some crazy fun stuff happen on

1:36:37

stage. You want to see some amazing special guests, amazing

1:36:40

performances, some great DJs.

1:36:43

GA is where the party is going to be going. We're

1:36:45

all going to be up in GA too. We're all just

1:36:47

going to be trying to get out of that mosh pit

1:36:49

in the back. We'll all be mixed in

1:36:51

with one another. So

1:36:54

it's going to be really fun. We

1:36:58

confirmed our special guest

1:37:01

for Ring of Wrestling show live.

1:37:04

But we're not allowed to say this. But we're not allowed to

1:37:07

say who it is. So

1:37:09

all I'm going to say to you is

1:37:12

for those who get to Wylie Mania, get

1:37:14

there on time because we will be kicking

1:37:16

off the show with the Ring of Wrestling

1:37:19

show live. What are the great wrestler unveilings,

1:37:21

like the secret wrestler gimmicks? This is like

1:37:23

the machines or whatever. I'm thinking about how

1:37:25

to do it. I'm like, dude, do we

1:37:28

get the Cody Evader? Do we get the

1:37:30

Undertaker lightning strike? How do

1:37:33

we do these massive reveals

1:37:35

on who are very super secret special guests?

1:37:38

Well, a film is not the gobbledygooker. That

1:37:40

would be. Maybe can we do the egg?

1:37:44

I'm going to go invest in a giant egg. And

1:37:47

our special guest is going to pop out of that.

1:37:50

But no, get your tickets. Obviously,

1:37:53

incredible lineup. All

1:37:55

the artists that are coming through, all the wrestlers that are

1:37:57

coming through. It's going to be a fun time. will

1:38:00

1:38:02

Brian. He's of course

one of the hosts on that show, but thank you for

producing this episode, Brian. Thank you to

our EP, Ben Cruz. Thank you

1:39:13

all for listening. Special thanks to Phil Schneider

for joining us this week. We'll

be back here on Monday with

a brand new fresh episode of The

it's always fun. We'll
