Danny Shelton is someone who has been in long-term recovery from alcohol and drugs since 9/16/2017. As everyone can imagine there are some pretty sad stories involved with long-term drug addiction. He won’t go into too many details right now but there are years of homelessness, years of jail time among other things. The important part of this story he loves to share. After his fourteenth stint in treatment, He finally found a healthy outlet. It was health and fitness. As he was working on my relationship with a higher power and doing fearless and searching moral inventory he was also developing a passion for lifting and powerlifting. It wasn’t long before he knew he needed to incorporate nutrition if he really wanted to amplify his goals so he went and got his first nutrition certification and level 1 Strong First Certification. It wasn’t long before people started asking him for help with their training programs and their nutrition. Before long he was helping enough people that it made sense to make his passion a reality and that is how D&D fitness and nutrition was born.
