The SafeTech Family podcast helps parents transition from feeling fearful of what the future holds to seeing there’s a bright future ahead.

We decided to start this podcast because we are seeing so much parenting from a place of fear — where parents are doing everything possible to protect their children from social media and other technologies, but with little to no conversations taking place to teach their kids how to use it safely and to elevate their lives.

While protecting children is crucial, not acknowledging their desire and need to embrace technology hinders their ability to thrive in a hypertech world. So even with the best intentions, fearful parenting ends up fostering contention and rebellion and distances our children from us.

Parenting with confidence starts with giving children a voice. The best way to help them face their challenges is for us to understand them, to learn what it’s really like growing up today, and to face the tough issues alongside them.
