HI! Welcome to The Savage daughter podcast! My name is Heather and I am SO EXCITED to be here and share my love of mental and spiritual growth with you! It is my goal to create a safe space for everyone. A community where all belong, judgement free, and can show up authentically. Did you know that as of January 16, 2023 around 970 MILLION people struggle with a mental illness and/or drug abuse. Some may only experience for a short time, seasonally, or just one time in their past. For others of us… it’s been a lifelong experience brought on by traumas often stemming from our childhood. (Uh...hi. its me. I’m the problem)It is believed that any unhealed trauma can be passed down generations, and that is no burden our children or our children's children should have to carry. Heal yourselves, so they don’t have to. We’re here to talk about all the subjects. No matter how hard they may be… we are in this journey together. You’ll never be alone. The goal is to evolve, grow into our most powerful, authentic self. You may be triggered from time to time. Just know that healing happens through the hurt. You’re not alone.
