This topic has been on my mind lately reminding me to be aware of the weight of our words. My son just recently called our new baby "ugly" - something I talked about on one of my IGTV videos, and it reminded me again of the importance of the way that we talk to our kids and those around us. In this episode, I tell you a childhood story that became a belief for me that I had to break and how it reminded me of the impact that our words have on other people.

We might think that our words have no effect, but often times they do especially with our children. Kids are like sponges and they learn things from us which includes our behaviors, words, and actions and the way we are toward other people.
