On ep 6 of The Selling Circus Podcast we'll have special guest Ken Hall on the Show.---------------------------------------------------Ken Hall was born in New York City and grew up in Stamford, Conn., about 35 miles outside of Manhattan. He earned a degree in journalism from Florida Atlantic University in 1978 and has been working as a business writer and editor ever since. He has been an observer of the antiques and collectibles scene since 2000, when he was hired as associate editor of Southeastern Antiquing & Collecting Magazine, just outside Atlanta, where he is still employed. He also writes two syndicated columns: Ken's Korner (a digest of news and views from the world of antiques and collectibles) and Gavels 'n' Paddles (a monthly roundup of auction results from around the country). He also writes pre- and post-sale press releases for auction houses, for a fee. Mr. Hall is on hiatus from another syndicated column -- The Celebrity Collector -- which he wrote for several years. During that time, he profiled about 100 celebrities, talking about the things they collect, how they got started and what they're doing today. He plans to resume the column by the end of the year. Mr. Hall collects coins, 45 rpm records from the '50s and '60s and pop art.
