Irena & Akio Heisei Daigan are expats living in Portugal.

Akio is living his best life, hunting little prey in forests, rolling in dead fish and digging clam shells on the wast beaches of Portugal, while Irena is raising her little Champion and is on the path of becoming a responsible breeder of Shiba Inu. Never has she ever imagined becoming a dog owner, as all her life perceived herself as a devoted "cat lady". So now she has her darling "cat-dog" Akio.
