You may remember a while back when AL spoke to Kevin and Suzie Guerin from Shropshire Floats in Myddle, Shropshire. Well on this episode we speak to their daughter Abi Guerin, who is currently working in the North Sea, training to be a ship captain. 

Joining us from her cabin, Abi talks about her reactions to the first steps out onto her new adventure. A huge ship that is used to install wind turbines at sea. This extraordinary ship has legs which extend to keep the ship stable while huge loads are lifted into place.

This is an insight into what seems to be an amazing adventure, one of many at sea for Abi. We clear up some misconceptions about wind farms and how easy it is to switch to using green energy to power your homes and businesses. Abi talks keenly about how every day is completely different and how there is so much to learn.
