Jared Altic has 25 years of experience serving and counselling military and law enforcement families, responding to families of crime victims and working long term with police in areas of wellness. He’s a full-time Pastor and voluntary Police Chaplain at his local police department in Kansas City.

In this episode we spoke about the kinds of situations a Police Chaplain might be able to help with, what does Jared do on a 'ride along' or at a crime scene, why it's important to have chaplains in a job like this, and what Jared has to put in place to avoid compassion fatigue himself.
