Are you a Club 99 member? 

Long ago there lived a King who, despite all his luxuries, was not happy.

While on his usual rounds he came upon a servant who was singing happily while he worked. This fascinated the King; Why was he, the Supreme Ruler of the Land, unhappy and gloomy, while a lowly servant had so much joy?

The King asked the servant, ‘Why are you so happy?’

The man replied, ‘Your Majesty, I have everything, a good wife, three meals a day and roof over my head. I ask nothing more I am happy. The king sought the advice of his vizier. After hearing the story, the advisor said, Your Majecty the servant is not a member of Club 99. 

‘The Club 99? what is that?’ asked the King.

The advisor replied Your Majesty I need 99 gold coins to explain that to you. 

Next day when the servant opened the door of his 1BHK he saw a bag, he opened it to find the Gold coins and leapt with joy. Naturally He began to count them. He found that there were only 99 coins.

He wondered, ‘What could’ve happened to that last gold coin? Surely, no one would leave 99 coins!’

After not finding that one coin anywhere he decided that he was going to work hard to earn that 100th gold coin.

From that day, the servant was a changed man. He was transformed a man on a mission. You could say he was really motivated. He became very business-like and professional. 

And he had stopped singing while he worked.

Witnessing this drastic transformation, the King was puzzled. His vizier said Your Majesty, the servant is now officially a member of Club 99.

Club 99 is for people who have enough but are not content, because they expect that one more Gold Coin for them to become happy.
