When HBD's sister, Harriet, debuts her first novel, she invites HBD and Tiffany to the release party. At the party, they find themselves caught up in a mystery.

Title Reference: It's both a reference to the 1984 film of the same name and the jewelers' jargon "romancing the stone." It refers to a step in preparing a gem for use in jewelry.
