Before he reached middle school, he was practicing year-round and hitting tournaments every weekend. But then a severe concussion transformed his purpose. For a time, Aubrey didn’t know his own name, his own parents, and even carrots! (as you will hear) Six months after recovering, Aubrey suffered another concussion, and wrestling was over for him. But that spurred him to pursue another dream—through-hiking the Appalachian Trail with his dad.
