In today's workplace, it's more important than ever to speak up and claim your power.

Elaine Lyerly is an entrepreneur and the owner of a brand marketing and public relations firm in North Carolina. She and her sister work with companies to help them get their story out, tell their stories and market their products and services. Elaine is also working on a book about outrageous things men say to women at work, to help women empower themselves to have a voice and speak up when inappropriate things are said or happen to them.

This is Elaine Lyerly's story...

I'm Elaine Lyerly, and I'm an entrepreneur. My sister and I have a brand marketing and public relations firm in North Carolina, and we've been working together for a long time. And we work with companies to help them get their story out, tell their stories and market their products and services and really help them grow. So, it's been a really fun journey, and part of how it's evolved is I met a friend through the American Red Cross, and her name is Karen, and we got to talking one day about just outrageous things men have said to women at work. And she's been in corporate America and traditionally male-oriented industries, and we started telling stories of things that men had said to us in the workplace, and we realized how many women had
