In today’s guest episode, we have the pleasure of speaking with Peter Filopolous. Peter has had a major impact on the Australian Sporting Landscape across the past 20-25 years, with several senior roles and CEO positions across multiple sports such as football (soccer), AFL and swimming.

Peter has gone from strength to strength throughout his career, being the CEO across major football organisations such as South Melbourne FC, Perth Glory, Football Victoria, and currently at Football Australiaas the Head of Marketing, Communications and Corporate Affairs.

We learn about Peter’s wealth of experiences and insights both from a general perspective, but also in football. We speak about the upcoming FIFA Women’s World Cup and the legacy aspirations Football Australia has for this, and also some of the long-term goals Football Australia has in terms of developing the sport.
