If at first you don't succeed try try again; a previously unsuccessful effort to lower the voting age to 16 in the city of San Francisco is once again underway.
If passed the measure would grant 16 and 17-year-old San Franciscans the right to vote in local elections.
Previous attempts to lower the voting age narrowly failed in 2016 and 2020.
For more on the effort, KCBS Radio's Bret Burkhart and Patti Reising are joined by, Ewan Barker Plummer, Chair of the San Francisco Youth Commission.
