It's election day and what better time to ask the question: why do Jews, as a voting bloc, tend to overwhelmingly vote for a party that doesn't support Israel or Jewish causes? We invited an expert to join us today to answer that – Rabbi Dov Fischer of Young Israel of Orange County, California. In part one of a two-part conversation, Rabbi Fisher discusses the nature of who is and who is not a Jew. He looks at Reform Judaism versus Orthodox Judaism as well as the history of anti-Semitism.
