In today's episode, I share my journey from a traditional clinical PTA to becoming a top earner in 2024, focusing on how we can unlock our full potential in physical therapy. Despite the limitations set by insurance and conventional PT roles, I've spent over a decade finding ways for PTAs like myself to exceed these boundaries and better serve our patients.

Many of us feel restricted by insurance policies and are unaware of the full scope of our licenses. This lack of clarity hinders our ability to offer more comprehensive care. I've discovered that diving into areas like deconditioning cycles and preventative care reveals a disconnect between our training and the needs of those we serve.

To address this, I emphasize understanding the scope of our licenses and exploring opportunities in health, wellness, and fitness beyond traditional PT. I suggest using a specialized service to ensure compliance with state regulations, freeing us to focus on expanding our practices.

This episode also highlights the need to align our skills with consumer demands for wellness and prevention, pointing out the growing trend of assisted stretching studios and boutique fitness centers.
