With his recent railing against the parent company of his network because of the misleading antics of Fox News (check out an article on the issue here), we feature a conversation from 2000, back when the show first went on the air, with Seth MacFarlane, the creator and major voice talent behind Family Guy on FOX. (Patreon Stuph File Program fans, there are three Patreon Reward Extras where you can listen to three more conversations with Seth. There are two conversations from 2003; one where we talked about the success of the DVD's; a second on the return of the show on the network after a short lived cancellation; and one from 2004 where Seth talks about and the live cast readings that he was preparing to do here in Montreal for Just For Laughs).
Hilary MacLeod is a broadcaster, professor and mystery writer with six novels under her belt. All of her mysteries take place in a small PEI village, which is where she summers.(You can also hear Hilary’s previous appearance on show from 2011 on #0080, or you can hear the conversation via Audea: Hilary MacLeod - Revenge Of The Lobster Lover)
Stuart Nulman with another edition of Book Banter. This week’s reviewed title is The Bomber Mafia: A Dream, a Temptation, and the Longest Night of the Second World War by Malcolm Gladwell (Little, Brown, $34). You can also read Stuart’s reviews in The Montreal Times.
