Winie is a 26-year-old Haitian full-time student; TPS recipient since 2010/2011 perusing a degree in psychology & a minor in criminology at Florida Atlantic University. Winie is scheduled to graduate in December 2019. She works as a full time dermatological medical assistant. Her objective is to one day follow a career with the Department of Homeland Security of the U.S.

Roosevelt’s passion is filmmaking, inspiring others, and helping build the youth.“Filmmaking came into my life at a very critical point where I was confused about life and didn't know which direction I wanted to take. I pursued that and here I am. I own a film production company, FNO Productions. I am an award winning filmmaker, I’ve written and produced some hit short films, also two hit documentaries with local high schools in the community. I love children which is why I do these documentaries. Back when I was in school I had no one to come around and make me feel special and loved so that is what I do for the youth. I love to inspire and give people hope and remind them that life is about being happy and finding true purpose. At the end of the day, I want to leave a legacy behind for being someone that helped changed lives. That’s my passion and purpose- to serve others.”
