After spending this entire decade rewatching and analyzing all five seasons of X-Men: The Animated Series, the Taste Buds return to XTASmania to watch new episodes!

What happens on X-Men '97?

Picking up where the old series left off, Professor X is dead, and the X-Men '97 have to figure out what their next step is. Luckily, Chuck figured it out for them by leaving the mansion and the team (and the students?) to their arch-nemesis Magneto!

Why Are People Upset About X-Men '97?

We also get to meet binary Morph, gay Gambit (he wears a crop top in one scene), Asian Jubilee, and all of the other things that have made little children on the internet angry! Are these "fans" closer to the Friends of Humanity than the X-Men '97? Tune in to find out!
