This would be a successful example of benchmarking in Google AdWords. You want to improve each process and input to improve your output.

  1. Benchmark your Key Performance Indicator
    (Example: Cost/Conversion for last 30 days = $25)
  2. Optimize your text ads
  3. Optimize your targeted keywords and add negative keywords
  4. Optimize your bids
  5. Optimize geographic targeting
  6. Optimize demographic targeting
  7. Optimize device targeting
  8. Optimize remarketing audiences
  9. Optimize landing pages
  10. Optimize ad extensions
  11. Gather 30-days of Data or more if needed
