The Table Rock duo, interview Aaron and Anna from Hudson’s Baking Company committed to accessible food. The Hudsons first became interested in food when they lived in Hawaii with the military. In Hawaii, they were able to buy fresh, locally grown food year around. Later, in college at Evergreen State, they both majored in food policy. Today, they are putting their commitment to activism and food to work as they build their baking company. Aaron is a food activist first and being a baker allows him to be a food advocate. The Hudsons have a new store front in Kuna but they will also deliver product to you for free. Making fresh food accessible is an important value. If listeners are interested in transforming the food chain, Anna recommends that a place to start is joining a CSA (community supported agriculture). The CSA model establishes a direct, human connection between the people growing the food and the people buying it.Make sure to subcribe and follow us @boifood
