Kevin was born withSpina bifida which is a birth defect that occurs when the spine and spinal cord don't form properly. Kev never let that hold him back and played and competed at able bodied basketball at a young age. At the age of 13 Kev was introduced to wheelchair basketball, it was tough adjusting to playing in a wheelchair but when Kev did boy he make make noise!! Over the years Kev had have both of his legs amputated below the knee, it wasn't long until Kev was competing at a national level at para-Nordic skiing and para-biathlon! Kev's journey to get to his happy place wasn't easy, but he is ready to show he world what he is made of!
