Amanda is currently the Chief Executive Officer at CodeforAmerica. CodeforAmerica is a non profit organization that looks to close the gap between policymakers and technologists to build digital tools and services that are accessible to all communities. Amanda has been involved in public service and policymaking for the majority of her career, and has worked in a diversity of positions before CodeforAmerica. She has previously worked as Chief of Operations for California’s Attorney General in 2017 and served as Chief of Staff in the Senate during the 2008 Recession, earning her title as the first Latina Chief of Staff in the history of the U.S. Senate.
