This is what sport is all about. Having a crack as Hugo Taheny puts it. In this podcast we talk with champion field athlete Hugo Taheny from Point Turton. The Down Syndrome 20 year old is the backbone of the local community. I doesn't matter where you go on the Yorke Peninsula everyone knows Hugo Rockstar, a self appointed nickname, I might add. He's an ambassador for Down Syndrome and speaks around the country. This bloke is as honest as the day is long. His Mum and Dad (Louise & John) deserve a massive pat on the back. They have given him every opportunity along with his siblings. Hugo offers so much to everyone he meets, he has that infective nature. But what he loves most of all is throwing a shot-put or discuss, even the javelin. He's a master of them all. Before this interview Hugo spent a week in Royal Adelaide Hospital with a mystery illness. He's fine now and back training.
