Some Christians unknowingly developed a standard that they shouldn’t be feeling the so-called "difficult" emotions of fear, anger, disgust, and sadness. Oftentimes they brush these feelings off, lie to themselves that they are not feeling anything at all, and are convinced that that is how following Jesus should be.
