Dr. E. Calvin Beisner joins the Tim DeMoss Show today :).  He is co-author and co-editor of Climate & Energy-The Case for Realism. Beisner views anthropogenic global warming as real but unlikely to become catastrophic and believes the cost/benefit ratio of adapting to whatever future climate that lies ahead as better than trying to control global temperature by substituting wind, solar and other renewable energy sources for the hydrocarbon (aka "fossil") fuels.

Beisner is Founder, President, and National Spokesman of The Cornwall Alliance for the Stewardship of Creation. He has written over 15 books, edited more than 30, contributed to over 35, and published thousands of articles, popular and scholarly.

Climate & Energy-The Case for Realism is comprised of 16 chapters written by a dozen experts including co-editor David R. Legates, former professor of geography at the University of Delaware. Chapter titles include "Introduction: Life after Climate Change--Better Than Before," "The History and Politics of Climate Change," "The Science of Climate" and "How Economic Thinking Can Help Tackle Climate Change."
