We are all familiar now with the argument that gender is a social construct, that the organs and chromosomes are irrelevent, and that there is no gender binary. What if they have a point? What if the flesh isn't the issue? We look back at the very beginnings of humanity to look at why gender isn't just a set of organs or traits, but a very real, intentional, and spiritual reality. It's more than just skin deep, and that's a good thing.
