On the 27th episode of The Matters Of The Heart podcast, I have the privilege of sharing the story of Mark and Michelle who reached out to me to share their story in today's solo presentation.

They took us through the journey of how they rose to the pinnacle of their careers which they've always dreamt of. However, this also did not come with its downside which meant that they had less time to spend with each other and do the things they love.

They were quick to realise this and decided to change jobs which they did successfully, though it didn't come without a huge price. It meant them having a pay cut and struggling financially.
But I guess is a case of choosing what's best for them.

In my opinion, I believe you can't eat your cake and have it. There's always a price to pay for every of our actions. So neglecting the children and building our careers is certainly a ticking time bomb waiting to explode.
