In this episode, Tyler sits down with Lance Fox. Lance was a veterinarian who now works for the largest vitamin manufacturer for both humans and animals. Along the way, he had the opportunity to climb Mount Everest, which led him to starting the organization called Healthy Yak. We do have to live by that mantra, but I dig a little deeper with my people and I try to bring out not only what's in the best of them but I've got people I'm nurturing to take over my position.” “You have to be insightful, right? You have to watch your people, identify their strengths, but also capitalize in their weaknesses. Grow their weaknesses so they actually become even stronger. That's the style management that I particularly use with leadership.” “I always tell everybody, from my kids on through, that someday you're going to have that spark moment. That book was my spark moment. You need to hold on to that spark moment. Dreams don't happen overnight. You can hear the cliché that any dream is possible. You may not always accomplish the dream, it's the journey to try that counts. That really is truly what it's about.”
