Nothing is more evil than to confuse oneself with something greater. You are powerful, you have purpose and you have free will but it is not all encompassing. You are also finite, fearful and incomplete. By yourself, you are simply not enough to effect a system as large and complex as the universe. Practically speaking, ignoring the latter and trying to change the world into your conception of the good  is precisely how hell on earth is brought in to being. Choose the thorny path, embrace humility.
