In this episode we look at storytelling in organizations as David Brake interviews bestselling author, David Hutchens.

There's a lot of buzz about storytelling in business today. David works with some of the biggest brands in the world—The Coca-Cola Company, Wal-Mart, IBM, GE, Nike, Bank of America, and NASA—helping them tell their stories as well as listen to the stories from within their own organizations.

Listeners may be surprised to learn that David does not like the word "storytelling," claiming that the telling of the story is only part of a larger process. He focuses on that larger process, something that involves creating a "safe story space" where people can be comfortable sharing and receiving stories. To hear David tell it, "there's gold in your organization … story gold."

If you'd like to find that "story gold" in your organization, you'll want to listen in.
