Meet David Vobora, a true embodiment of resilience and unwavering commitment to service. You may know him as the final pick in the 2008 NFL Draft, affectionately celebrated as 'Mr. Irrelevant' in the sun-kissed shores of Newport Beach that memorable summer.
David's journey in the NFL was nothing short of remarkable. Despite the odds stacked against him, he donned the jerseys of the Rams for three seasons and the Seahawks for one, leaving an indelible mark on the field until injuries curtailed his playing career.

But for David, the end of his NFL career was merely the beginning of his true calling.

David had a vision that transcended the boundaries of sports and military service. "Vets and transitioning athletes helping each other under one roof," he envisioned. In this life phase, athletes and veterans grapple with similar challenges. Athletes accustomed to performing in front of thousands suddenly found themselves 'discharged,' struggling to find a job. At the same time, veterans, used to running into battle, faced the daunting prospect of civilian life. David knew it wasn't easy, but he was determined to make a difference.

His commitment to service didn't stop there. David Vobora founded the Adaptive Training Foundation, a non-profit organization that provides free personal training to individuals recovering from traumatic injuries, whether in the military or civilian life. This initiative is not just about physical rehabilitation; it's about instilling hope and resilience in those facing life-altering challenges.
