Stereotypes of women are widespread in media and society. It's hard to believe but in 2018, there are still television shows that portray women negatively, with continued remarks about the appearance of women in the public eye. Do you ever wonder what can be done to promote the images of women in media without demeaning them? Well this is the show for you.  I’m excited to welcome two guests with established careers in television, who certainly have a lot to say about their experiences as women in media. Sukanya Krishnan is an Emmy Award winning morning news anchor on Good Day Wake Up on Fox TV in New York City. She previously anchored for the PIX Morning News on WPIX in NY. 

Also with us is Nicole Johnson, another Emmy Award winning journalist at PIX 11 in New York. They both have covered many high profile stories including September 11th.
