Quite entertaining, way too much metacommentary about the very process of making the podcast.

Well produced but ultimately a total waste of time. I feel scammed by the continued teasing that there is more to the story. There isn’t. It is a small time screwup/liar that this guy is fascinated by because he was personally affected. Not worth 7 hours.

Yet another scam-artist podcast... well, yes, but it's a good one. Justin Sayles does have the grace to point out that by now, we know all the beats; here's the cold open, here's the opening scenes when people realise things aren't right, here's the dedicated amateur detectives who want to track the scammer down and hold them to account... but it's still a well-made podcast, with a story that does have enough twists and turns to sustain seven episodes. What makes it worth a listen is an unusually deep dive into why people do this, including, very rarely, a long interview with the scammer himself. Worth a listen!
