 One Veteran stood out to her as someone who was willing to learn and take initiative.  In the civilian world, you have to tailor resume as a marketing tool for the job you want.  Every single bullet is a marketing tool and it is living and breathing according to Kathy.  Outside of the military the question remains of “what can you do for me.”  

Her number one word of advice is if you are wanting to do sales, even at an entry level, get in with a larger company and moonlight there for a while.  She feels they have valuable tools and assets to set you up for success.
