The off the cuff, long form political theses of Jon Stewart really shine in this show. Episodes focused on individual subjects with some check-in with current events a la “Last Week Tonight”.

Dude needs to shut up, no one cares about your lies and gotcha style bullshit. Why anyone listens to this is beyond me.

I did not hate the content. Jon Stewart is an excellent and informed interviewer. Lina Kahn has excellent bona fides. BUT, she also has a voice in the high pitch range, spoke a bit rapidly, and was very unpleasant to listen to. Apologies to her. It's not necessarily because she's a woman, but, women speak at about 100 Hertz or more higher than men. The effect is often shrill or just irritating to my auditory nerves. Apart from vocal lessons for those who speak on podcasts, whoever is doing the sound mixing on a podcast can do much to reduce the high pitch of womens' voices, which is what should have been done here.

He’s back. But more serious, at least that’s what the reviews are saying. Jon Stewart, of Daily Show fame has a new show, and of-course, it being on Apple, comes with a companion podcast. But the podcast isn’t just the show, it’s a more in-depth look at the issues the show covers and provides an entertaining inside look into the making of the show. The same problems tend to come up when a lay person tackles big issues, and John tackles all the big issues, the difference here is that Jon cares about that. He's back sticking his nose into the cogs of our big machine and I can only hope that everyone will lend an ear.
