He played college football for Boston College, and earned consensus All-American honors. He was signed by the Colts as an undrafted free agent in 2008.

Today we’re remembering the life of Richard Davis, of Lakewood Ranch, Florida, who passed away peacefully at The Windsor Reflections Memory Care Facility. 

He was born in Hartford in 1933 and was raised in Quonochontaug. Richard served in the U.S Army achieving the rank of Corporal before being honorably discharged after two years of service. He retired from General Dynamics as an electrician. Richard is survived by his son Todd of Sarasota, Florida. He is pre-deceased by his loving wife Starlyne "Muffy" Davis, son Mark S. Davis and daughter Tracey A . Pacsosa.
