In today’s episode I interview Brett Allred from Beige Blond Salon and Alisa Tetreault from Most Everything, a vintage shop in Vancouver.
They co-coordinate Vancouver’s own fashion show Couve Couture and it’s fascinating how they’ve turned a fashion show into a awesome community event!
After you listen to this, you will definitely want to go get your hair cut and colored and then go shopping for a new dress for summer as well as sign up to volunteer for next year’s Couve Couture!
Where you can find them:
Francis Ford Coppola’s 2013 Sauvignon Blanc, $21.00: A crisp and fruity Sauv Blanc with just a hint of green pepper. A delight for a hot summer afternoon.
Nicole Chanrion Cote de Brouilly, $19.70: One of 10 Cru’s in Beaujolais, Brouilly, sounds like “brooey”, has the largest production in the region. This wine is delicious and can be served slightly chilled. An easy drinking wine with loads of strawberry and raspberry.
Charles Smith Boom Boom Syrah, $15.00: This Syrah is made from winemaker Charles Smith from Walla Walla, WA. A fruity Syrah with even some hints of chocolate covered cherries, this Syrah is always a good weeknight go to!
