Joe Bastardi has over 50 years of forecasting experience and is widely considered the most experienced and accurate private sector forecaster on the planet.

Mr Bastardi has been chief meteorologist of Weatherbell Analytics since its inception in 2011. He has garnered a large following on social media as a result of his accuracy and entertaining speaking style.

Bastardi's exceptional skills and reputation have earned him appearances on major television programs such as Hannity Show, Fox News Live, ABC World News, The O'Reilly Factor, The Colbert Report, CBS's The Early Show, and Imus in the Morning, among others.

Before joining WeatherBell, he was the Chief Forecaster for Accuweather Inc., where he spent 33 years and built a large private client services business

Bastardi is the author of two subject matter Amazon best sellers, “The Climate Chronicles, Inconvenient Revelations from Al Gore and others”, and “The Weaponization of Weather in the Phony Climate War.”

Bastardi is a contributor to CFACT on climate and weather related topics. He is also the host of The American Storm podcast.

Additional accolades include being a competitive bodybuilder with 8 national class or overall titles (no steroids), and two North American titles. His athletic accomplishments date back to college where he was a Division 1 wrestler at Penn State.

Bastardi is married with two children. His wife, Jessica Strunk, a lifelong gymnast and coach, was captain of PSU Gymnastics in 1988, and later became the assistant coach at PSU for 20 years. Their son Garrett has his own weather company in Texas. Their daughter Jessie was also a Penn State gymnast. Jessie and Jessica are the only known mother-daughter combo to make nationals.
