Movie Inspirations on The X-Files

In our first ever episode recorded live in person, in a Birmingham, UK pub, Tony Black hosts alongside Carl Sweeney to discuss The X-Files and its cinematic inspirations.

Your hosts pick five movies each they feel The X-Files took a cue from which they love, including 'Ice' and The Thing, 'Pusher' and The Deer Hunter, and 'Ascension' & Moonraker - amongst many others.

While Tony tries to distract him with (bad) impressions of Hollywood stars from James Mason through to Arnold Schwarzenegger, Carl also gives his least favourite movie inspiration on the show...
