In this episode, I sit down to recap Cage Warriors 157 in London. On paper, it had a lot of promise. But on the night, it delivered something truly special.
Mick Stanton looked dead to rights until a blitzing right-hand dropped Webb and forced the stoppage. Stanton avenged a big career loss and defended his Middleweight belt for the very first time.
Jordan Vucenic and Morgan Charriere delivered one-sided beatdowns to their debuting opponents, with Vucenic proving once again that he's one of the best back-takers in the game.
Elsewhere on the main card, Madars Fleminas laid claim to being one half of any future title match at Welterweight with a crushing victory over Skibinski.
Luke Riley extended his undefeated record to 7-0 with a comfortable and impressive 15-minute outing.
However, the real visceral highlights of the card sat with Harry Hardwick and Omiel Brown. Hardwick produced one of the most dazzling and picture-perfect back-takes to submit Vitor Estevam while Omiel Brown laid Jesse Urholin to pasture with an insane uppercut.
Elsewhere on the card, Will Currie returned to winning ways, Taka Mhandu registered his first win in the yellow gloves, Angus Hewett and Connor Hayes went to war and Liam Gittins secured yet another finish at 145lbs.
This and so much more is discussed on this episode!
