Life is often complicated and overwhelming. We try to find a moment of peace but it’s elusive. Most days we’d settle for just not being emotionally and physically drained. It can be impossible to find time for self-care. Each day is a copy of the last. We wander around numb at best anxiety-ridden at worst. Is this how we are meant to feel? There is a different way. Emotional intelligence together with Buddhist philosophy seems to offer a unique insight into ourselves and our minds. Here we will talk about all things emotional, psychological, metaphysical, and spiritual, in other words, Zen.
