This podcast, hosted by Johan Hefer, reflects upon history through the eyes of everyday people. This is a podcast about stories. Many of the stories will come from South African historic events. Please note though, he will also tell stories from throughout the world. As a fan of genealogy and the history of the individual he will explore history in a different way. These individuals had impact on and was impacted by historical events. The podcast will make use of first-person accounts and other literary sources. The aim is to give voice to them, not give an interpretation of history.
