Four years ago today, I was at the cusp of a brand new adventure. As I rocked my one year old to sleep, I wanted to pause the time knowing life was about to change very soon. With her little legs upon my belly, I could also feel the faint kicks of our new baby inside my womb. Along with a growing baby, I had growing dreams that I couldn’t seem to tame in that moment. We were about to move in with our parents as our first home had sold and we were gut renovating our new house. Not sure what we were thinking 🤣

At that time I felt strongly in my spirit that I would have a publisher come along side me to get my books into the world. I would tell people it would happen before our baby arrived. When you hear Gods voice, there’s no ignoring it. Most of the time it makes ZERO sense and when you share with others, they might even think you’ve lost your mind lol But it’s important we don’t allow others scarcity to drive the direction of our path, but stay focused on what he is calling us to. 

Fast forward, I signed not just one book deal, but a double deal two months before our precious Charlie arrived. And during that time I also kicked off season one + two of the THINKING LIKE A BOSS PODCAST 🎉 The past four years of producing has been a JOY, has never felt like work, and why when I felt God leading me into a NEW direction, I wanted to ignore him.
