We continue our 2 part series on lookism, this time with Shivani’s input. Lookism permeates through so many parts of our lives, so we had to delve even deeper after our first episode on the topic.
Attractiveness exists on a spectrum. For some of us, acknowledging our pretty privilege can be deeply uncomfortable. How can we gauge our own “pretty privilege” if looks are totally subjective? We discuss gendered differences in lookism, plastic surgery, and how our own perceptions of attractiveness result from outside influences.
