Currently Kim is the Worship Assistant for adults and kids at Canyon Hills Friends Church in Yorba Linda, CA. For the last 15 years Kim has been writing songs, leading worship and working in some capacity of ministry but it was not until 2015 that she started pursuing the call God put on her life to share her songs and story with the world.
Ironically 2015 was the worst year of her life. As Kim experienced the agony of watching her Dad lose his valiant battle against pancreatic cancer and mourned the loss of a baby due to an ectopic pregnancy that nearly killed her she realized something: everyone is going to hurt but only those who have hope in Christ will heal.
“Hurt. Hope. Heal.”, Kim’s Debut album, will be a collection of songs birthed from the spiritual journey she has been on the last 3 years, including 2015. But don’t worry, it won't be a sob fest. "Hurt. Hope. Heal." is going to be a balanced blend of optimism, fear, anger and joy held together by melody driven songs, fresh pop sounds and Kim’s “angelic yet powerful” voice.
Kim hopes that the album will give comfort by showing that we need not be alone in sometimes feeling sad, angry, bitter or fearful. Beyond comforting others she prays her music and ministry also reveals the reality and power of Jesus’ love and inspires people to make positive, bold, and life-changing choices in light of that love.
