Remember the “Good Ole Days”, when life was simple? When fresh eggs were collected in the morning from the chicken coop, apples were hand picked from the orchard and warm milk was brought to the table fresh from the cow. Back when you would walk through the kitchen and the aroma of spices from grandma’s pie would make your mouth water in anticipation. Back when recipes were handed down from generation to generation.

 

I didn’t quite live back in the good ole days, but I do know the simplicity of making good homemade food. There is a joy and satisfaction that comes with knowing exactly what is in the food that sustains our bodies and our souls.

I am a simple woman who has a passion for the culinary arts. Ever since I was young I have loved food and it only increases as the years go on. Food is such a part of who I am. My mother potty trained me with m&m’s, my father recruited me for pancake duty on Saturday mornings and I remember watching  my grandma’s cook dinner in the kitchen with wide-eyed fascination.

 

For over 15 years I have been creating delicious concoctions that have awakened taste buds and filled empty bellies. I cater everything, from charity events of 500 people to weddings of 400 to birthday parties, bridal showers and family holidays of 30 and finally to my own humble table of 4.

 

My dream of opening a bakery is now a reality. I never wanted the over-sized kitchens of commercial bakeries where efficiency outweighs quality; I am all about keeping it simple. How much more simple can it be than having my bakery based right in my own home? It’s where I know every last corner of my baking station just like the back of my hand. I have the comfort of home but the honor of sharing my passion, my creative talent with you.

 

I take pride in the fact that everything that comes out of my kitchen is made from simple, natural ingredients. You will never find any added preservatives or components that you cannot pronounce embedded into my finished treats. You can rest assured that everything you sample from us is made with the utmost love but best of all, it's made freshly From Scratch!
