Northeast Mississippi Community College President Dr. Ricky G. Ford sits down with Marketing and Public Relations Specialist Liz Calvery to discuss an event that happens right as the school returns from its Spring Break holidays in May. Calvery and Ford discuss the Northeast baseball and softball team's "An Exceptional Night of Baseball," which is geared toward those who may not have had a chance to play baseball in their lives due to one reason or another. As Ford gives information on "An Exceptional Night of Baseball," the veteran coach also delves into some of the other community events that the college is involved in and how the college tries to involve the community in many of the things that it does. To wrap up, Ford gives listeners the Northeast News and discusses athletics, academics, workforce, student activities, and human resources, along with many more important things happening at one of the nation’s top community colleges.
