We're both back, and it's now September in Podcast Land... there's a chance we'll be up to date by Christmas.Tim went to see Lights Out, so Kirsty curated a playlist centred around films inspired by short movies and films.
The second hour of Kirsty's Soundtracks That Tim Would Have liked!
In this bonus edition, Kirsty covered Classical Wandsworth and discovered that they have to prep SIGNIFICANTLY LESS since their tracks are all 16 minutes long. Stupid dumb 3 minute pop songs...
This week is the end of August! It's boiling hot (remember that?), we've not been to the cinema and we've just started Having News... so it's a bit of a chaosfest TBF....
We are catching up! Sadly it seems a few weeks just haven't been saved, so there are some plotholes. Still... it's a thing! In this thing we talk about Suicide Squad.
This week is a month after last week! Films discussed: Star Trek Beyond (vaguely, thanks Kirsty) and The BFG!
This episode was recorded 2 days before the EU referendum, and we don't really talk about it... silly smug liberals that we were.Tim's seen The Conjouring 2! Kirsty's doing a little music quiz! All the hits!
Good dads, bad dads, abrupt endings to the show. we've got it all.
57. The Lost Months: Shops by Tim And Kirsty Show
We continue to talk Cap and then eventually move on to Green Room, we please Green OR Room and Kirsty sounds like she's underwater for a bit. She's not.
Kirsty finally got a laptop, so she's doing her level best to bring us all up to speed, podcast-wise. This may take some time, bear with her!In this week's lost show, it's just Kirsty on her own - she does alright, the brave little toaster -
An upload of a podcast so old it's almost irrelevant. Sorry about that, that's what happens when you leave the Queen of the procrastiNation to do podcasts... Also I was away.We discussed Bastille Day, Criminal and rushed through Eye in The S
Jungle themed week this week; Tim talks Jungle Book and Kirsty is also there!
This week we saw Huntsman: Winters War, or Angry Frozen Bird and Tim saw Midnight Special. We played some brilliant music, but thanks to licensing laws, you won't hear it on this podcast. What better reason do you need to tune in on Tuesdays at
In this week's show, we hear that Tim really doesn't let Kirsty speak. We also talk (Tim does) about the new film Eddie The Eagle, some non-cinematic releases in the shape of The Legend of Barney Thompson and Europa Report. Admiral Ackbar gets
Kirsty is flying solo this time round, like Superman, because Tim is busy wooing a beautiful lady in his mansion, like Batman. She waffles a bit, and it's horribly endearing.
Tim and Kirsty agree that Zootropolis is great fun (and that it should be call Zootopia), but disagree strongly on the mental High-Rise. It's all very convivial.
It's one of those weeks where we didn't see any films, but we somehow talk too much!Good times.
This edition sees us talk a lot of nonsense. What a massive surprise. We cover Hail, Caesar, London Has Fallen and Tom Hopkinson joins us to discuss The Big Short retrospectively,
Tim's alone this week, as Kirsty has fallen down and can't get up. Worry not, because he stayed up all Oscar Night and has plenty to talk about, you'll be not at all surprised to hear.
And I think Gordon Gekko would agree. This week we talk about Creed (obvs) and Room. The plan was to play all the Best Original Song nominations, but we did not achieve that.ROBERT DUVALL played Tom Hagan. Just proving that I know that.
Sadly another tribute show. A distressing start to the year; however, we get to wax lyrical about how great Alan Rickman was. And Kirsty is pretty high on painkillers, so things get a bit weird at one point. Leonardo DiCaprio and the Stonemason
This week we played songs by the late David Bowie from his films and others. As well as touching on this sad subject, we chatted at length about the Golden Globes and probably Star Wars...
It's 2016 and we're back with a buttload of Star Wars music. We discuss The Danish Girl, The Good Dinosaur and The The Peanuts Movie and there's about 90 minutes of Star Wars Box Office ChitChat.
Kirsty has does around 20 minutes on air, with 40 minutes of music this week - during which she basically reads out the Radio Times and keeps refering to Grounghog Day as a Christmas Film. Goundhog Day is in February or some nonsense.
